Milla Will POV “So now you're asking for proof from me?” Austin spoke with a sarcastic tone. I simply looked at him, pondering the fact that he was so upset about me requesting proof when he clearly initiated it first. My words even made sense; I was far from my own pack, thrust into his pack, and this place was far from being all sunshine and roses. Furthermore, I didn't even know if he had any past relationships, but I never asked. The way people treated me here because I came with him spoke volumes, and I didn't want to delve further into it. Yet here he was, pretending that Shawn proposing to me or me having a crush on someone was akin to cheating. Sure, I had done such things in my past life, but this wasn't the past, and I wasn't the same naive person who would fall for anyone.
