I looked back and forth, trying to understand what had just happened and why Austin was speaking to me in such a strange way. Or should I say, why his wolf was speaking to me? But the main question wasn't that.
His alpha voice was clearly unsettling, giving me a heart attack. I didn't want to die again; I doubted the Moon Goddess would give me another chance.
"Tell me, how does it feel to be mated with me?" He came closer, holding me by my waist.
His manly cologne and the way he was grabbing me didn't feel safe at all.
"What... happened?" I facepalmed myself mentally. This unnecessary shudder wasn't needed. I always turned into jelly when he touched me, forbidden yet alluring.
"Nothing happened. This is our first meeting, right?" Austin asked in his Alpha tone.
