I opened my eyes, I felt both tired and well rest but found myself in a room that was not mine yet again. Danm I needed to stop fainted and woke up in other people’s room. I took a deep breath and thought ‘who’s room is that now’.
Looking around, trying to figure out where the hell I was. The room looked as old as a cottage room and everything looked like they had been ripping right out of a fairy tale world. I climbed out of bed and went out of the room. I opened the bedroom door and came face to face with a spiral staircase. I went down and found no one inside. It was like the house was empty. I called for by saying hello over and over but no one answered so I ventured farther to find someone.
The house was neither small nor huge. It was the perfect size for any normal woman who lived back in old age. It was very lighted and furnished. Everything inside was very beautiful. It was not a modern house and the design was neither modern it was very vintage, as there was no tv or anything electronic. There was a fireplace, some lamps, and candelabras.
I was in what looked like a living room was lighted by a large window where the sunlight was coming in. The furniture was two small sofas and a coffee table. There was a fireplace with some candle holders on it and a pile of firewood not far and fire poker.
I followed to the next room and I presumed it was the kitchen but it was both kitchen and dining room only divided by a door frame adorned by some nice sculptures that looked like they were crafted by hand.
Nevertheless, the library of the place was the one that took my breath away. There was a least five double sides bookshelf. All of them were full of books that looked like each book was their own world filled with different stories.
Therefore, the book that got my attention the most was a red velvet book on a bookstand. It was very removed from the other. It was far away close to a large window. I took a few steps closer to get a better view of it. The book was covered by some drawings. The drawings were three spirals joined together in the middle. Together they formed a sort of Celtic symbol. It also had a huge gold belt buckle on it used as a lock for the book.
However the closer I got to it, it was as if I was compelled to touch it even dared to opened it. But I was dead on my track when I heard a voice coming far from the back of the library. For a moment I thought, ‘who is that. Was I not alone the whole time.’
Nevertheless, I followed the voice and found a young woman seated on the only bench I saw in this library with her head hung low. She was reading a very weird book, looked like the one made technicians specialized in cryptic code and there was a pile next to her too.
I took a deep breath and asked, “who are you?”
“I'm an old friend and have been waiting for you,” she answered.
For some odd reason, she felt both familiar and weird. I felt like she was a friend and a stranger a the same time.
“Don't give yourself a headache with questions that I can simply answer you, darling,” she said
With that sentence, she rose her head and gave a lifetime of shocks. She looked just like me. Like she was my f*****g identical twin sister or something.
“What the hell is going on? Why do you have my face?” I questioned
“Right now you are dreaming. You fainted due to the last bit of news Aunt Mel gave you. I call you here because you need to meet. After all, sharing a body and not meet each other will be chaos.” she said.
“I’m Freya, your witch soul. I have been sleeping within you for centuries now. I wake up thanks to our mate Rohan who breaks a part of the spell that is upon us. The spell will be fully broken with we meet our other mate Cohan.” she added.
Staring at her. Trying to wrap my head around everything. Starting by her resemblance to me, her being my witch soul, having another mate, and least not last the spell she mentioned.
“Wait a minute, what is that spell you mentioned and you the hell is Cohan?” yet again I question.
She took a heavy breath and said, “ don't you ever feel that is so weird that both you and Cairo don't remember anything about our parents past the age of 5 like they did not exist afterward.”
“Well, like Aunt Mel was saying there is a spell place on you that blocks not only your memory of your parents but also stops your supernatural side from awake. However, thanks to the meeting of Rohan and you, the spell is kind of weaken not break. When you meet Cohan who is our other mate it will be broken and your memories of your parents will surface. Right now you might feel a little clarity about their features such as their hairs color etc. But every puzzle will fall in place when you have both your mates with you.”
“Okay, one more thing. Do you know why the spell was placed on us? And where do I find Cohan?” I asked.
“Don't worry Cohan already felt our existence. He will find us soon. And when it comes to the spell only our parents know why, not even aunt Mel knows the reason. She performed the spell because she trusted our parents blindly without objection as long she knows it is for our good.” she answered
I was about to pose another question when she informed me that it was time to go cause my family and Rohan are worried and blew something in my face and I woke up with her name on my lips.
