From her facial expression, I knew there was a story coming and it is a long one. Part of me wanted to yell at her to talk but another part wanted me to give her some time. So I took a deep breath and tried to stay as calm as I could at the moment. But it wasn't until Rohan touch me that I was finally calmed down and wait. Even though the feeling was weird yet pleasant I chose to let it pass again and focus on the matter at hand. I guessed I was the only inpatient one because Rohan just talked, “ woman said something. That anxiety is killing everyone right now.” Aunt Mel took a deep breath and started, “ it was not my idea but your parents.” and she added, “ but all stated before you were even born.” Hearing her uttered those words, my heart sank and my blood ran cold. I felt a part of my reality just shattered. Knowing that almost or everything from my entire life was lies. Lies came from people that I trusted the most. In a raging state, I yelled at her, asking her to tell me that everything wasn't a lie. Tell me that Rohan was telling untruth words about me that I have not done more wrong than right and that I have not been hunting people of my own kind. With tearing eyes she answered, “ I'm so sorry sweetheart. I am sorry to the both of you, but I made a promise that I had to keep”. Every word she mustered was like a knife through my heart. I was shaking with both pain and anger. The next thing I knew was knees gave out and darkness welcomed me. I woke up later that day with Rohan and my brother around me and my aunt looking out through the window. I moved a little and got Rohan's attention. Seeing me awoke, Rohan came closer and whispered, “ my love, you awake. You frightened me for the second time today. Please stop I don't think I can't take the third one, my love.” The way he stared at me with so much unknown emotion in his eyes was a takeover for me, even the sweetness of his voice when he talked to me was overwhelming me. I have been on this earth for over three centuries, I have never been flooded with so many emotions. Clearing my throat and whispered, “ water, please, ” and he handed it to me. Afterward, I said, “ please stop calling me love, please, my name is still Jaira and it is annoying too.” “Forgive him Jaira, he can't help himself. It is all the bond doing, ” aunt Mel said. Came closer she added, “ change your close and come to the meeting room we have some much to talk about.” I just nodded and she left. My brother followed right after but Rohan stayed behind. I looked at him with questioning eyes, he smiled and said, “ I will be leaving, just want to look at you a little bit longer”. My heart skipped and I kind of felt a little butterfly too. I took a deep breath, got off my bed, and preceded to undress. “ I think you have a memory picture now unless you want a grand show too because I need to change my clothes, ” I told him. Yet again he just smiled but what he did next caught me off guard. He took a few steps closer, kissed my forehead, and left. I didn't remember how many times I received a forehand kiss but this one was doing wonders within. Meanwhile elsewhere, a shadow man was having a conversation with his company. “Alistaire do you feel that,” said the shadow man. No Master I don't know what you are talking about, ” he answered. He stepped out of the shadow and said, “ a dominant soul has to be awake for me to feel that and I think whoever that is my beloved.” “Wait, Master Cohan are you tell me after all this time, she finally resurfaced. Maybe your brother has found her,” exclaimed Alistaire. “Will you stop calling me Master. You have been with me for ages, you are family so call me by my name. And yes I think you are right Rohan might have found her that is why she awakens now, ” he muttered. “My friend I need you to settle a meeting between my brother and me asap, please.” “Right away Mas... Cohan” answered Alistaire. Cohan and Rohan are brothers more like exact copies of each other. However, only a handful of people knew about that. They have been apart for centuries and no one knew why because they are not enemies just apart. Some thought it was because of their different races but it was more than a simple race feud. Back Leblanc mansion, Jaira made it to the meeting room. Now dressed in a white tank top, black skinny jeans that didn't do anything to hid her curve, and simple black flat shoes. Rohan could not take his eyes off his mate and Jaira was feeling a little uneasy under his constant stare but not for a lack of confidence. “You will drill a hole on my sister's face if you keep staring like that,” said Cairo while laughing. “Leaving alone Cairo. She is his mate after all. He can help it” claimed my aunt. “His what,” said both my brother and me.
