Everett Collins is a pianist living in a small New York City apartment. He's a classic case of the boy finally getting out of his small hometown, with a messy past he's not quite ready to confront just yet.

He thinks he's finally made it, a steady job pursuing his dream and a best friend to party with on the weekends. Until a man from his past shows up unannounced, and he's nothing like the boy Everett knew.
