"Mommy I don't want move to Guatemala... what about my friends and school?" my name is Marie I am 15 going to be 16 in less than 2 weeks. I live with my dad and my mom with my little sister name Dawn. Dawn is 2 years younger than me but we do everything together she is my best friend. I currently live in Rhode Island it's the smallest state in United States. But sadly in 12 hours I'm going to be living in another country called Guatemala. Guatemala is right underneath Mexico. my dad is Guatemalan making me half Guatemalan. I don't want to move I'm going to miss everyone here in my home state but my parents said we have to move and that they aren't keen about moving themselves either.
which brings up the question why is it important that we move down there? you may ask, well get inline I been asking my parents the same question. But evertime I ask they either avoid the question or say in time I will know.
But I'm currently in the airport waiting to aboard the plane, with my mom and sister. My dad is driving down to Guatemala with our stuff, it's currently 6am on a Tuesday October 7th 2015. The worse day of my life. My phone died and I can't play music on my headphones now. this going to be a long flight. For starters I can't listen to my music and now I have the option of either listening to the movies they will play on the plane or endure everyone's chatter. I have a high sense of hearing and really good reflexes that's why I was captain of my dodge ball team. I was always the last one standing, oh how I will miss my team and my friend Lilly.
