The buildings—dark, decaying monoliths of steel and concrete—seemed to go on forever, and in some ways they did. Distance and time were always shifting here in Hell. The city was immense, yet it housed only a small fraction of the souls condemned to Hell. Most souls in this realm were trapped in their own personal Hell for eternity. The rest were either stuck in the lands they had passed in their travel or were serving demon masters in this city and the various estates throughout the infernal realm.
