Louise DelaneyIt had been two days since Madison arrived. The moment of shock had pushed Louise into a different world; a world of delirium and paranoia.
“How are you feeling this morning?” Madison asked, handing her a cup of tea.
Louise smiled and gazed at her daughter’s face. She looked just like her father. She had the same long, black, curly hair as Abby’s. One couldn’t deny their relationship. They shared a parent. “Philip told me what happened,” she said. “I’m sorry you had to see that.”
Madison shook her head and sat down, placing a teaspoon of sugar and a splash of milk into her own cup. “I’m just glad you’re okay now.”
