Brynn woke encompassed by warmth and she stretched. The arm thrown over her tightened, Brynn hearing a soft sigh from behind her. She froze, remembering the night before with powerful embarrassment. Not only did she have a nightmare in Nikki’s home but had fallen out of the bed during the event. She remembered the look of pity etched across Nikki’s face when she came to on the floor, before Nikki pulled her close. The comfort that came over Brynn was one she’d never experienced before, and she didn’t want Nikki to loosen her embrace. How she ended up in bed with Brynn was lost on her. She did recall another nightmare raking through her sleeping mind, it quickly being snuffed. Brynn’s eyes widened when she realized it must’ve woken Nikki and that was when she had gotten into the bed.
