Chelsea sat silently beside Ella as she weaved through cars on a busy street.
“Hey, I have a question” Ella called out to her.
“Hmm?” Chelsea didn’t turn to look at her, her gaze instead remained fixed on the quickly vanishing scenes.
“Starcut’s time-lapse thing, how does it work? Can it grant immortality?” Ella asked.
Chelsea finally turned to Ella, her face full of confusion.
“I don’t understand your question”
“Well, I mean. If one's consciousness can be transferred to a virtual world for 50years of accelerated time. If everyone’s consciousness was transferred there then maybe a human could live forever” Ella explained her point.
“Who told you one's consciousness could leave the body?” Chelsea was still quite confused.
