Is it all real?
Is this feeling real?
Dalia questions herself, while she sighs again, battling with her inner emotions that she forget whom is in front of her and what she is supposed to be doing.
The feeling of having Lucien's touch against hers, or his lips sucking her own, and the masculine grip he usually have on her waist, makes Dalia daydream inevitably, while the middle aged woman whom stands before her, stares at her knowing exactly how whipped she is, and without no one telling her, its evident to know it is about a male.
"Keep thinking about him, and you'll never be able to defend yourself." And the words of the woman in front of her, rather her teacher whom Lucien has introduced to her to be, Dalia fixes back her attention. "And him." The auburn haired woman, whom Dalia will describe as someone she views to be as strictly stern, especially with her hair packed tight in a low bun, speaks.
"You shouldn't speak such way," Dalia's gaze now burns on the woman in front of her.
"Well that seems to get your attention, so tell me why shouldn't I say so, most especially if it is true." The woman whom Lucien introduced to be Lady Eve, questions Dalia while her gaze only becomes more stern.
Isn't speaking of such treason? Dalia questions her inner self as she can't quite understand how someone like Lady Eve can speak of such freely, when in truth she is neither royalty.
"Tell me Dalia, where exactly do you believe that you are in?" Lady Eve bombards her with yet, another question, whereas Dalia only stares agitated not wanting to utter rudely, as not to be seen as one of violence, especially since the last incident.
And all these she make actions because of a certain Prince Lucien.
"The palace of course," Dalia answers regardless all her agitation.
"And who's side do you stay by...rather wish to stay by?" A scoff escapes Dalia's lips, while she envisages if meeting lady Eve, is supposed to make her to look dumb or stupid.
"I asked you a question, commoner." And at these words of Lady Eve, every last patience Dalia has in her system vanishes, as she stares hard core at her. Yes, Dalia did know that Lady Eve sound offensive to her, yet, she didn't want to react too quickly, thinking of not to create a scene with women around Lucien, but with her latest words, Dalia is no longer going to keep still.
"If you think because you are a Lady or my teacher, gives you the audacity to insult me, then note, that I will not be insulted." Dalia reacts boldly staring at Lady Eve in the eye, whereas Lady Eve earns the reaction she wants.
Dalia with one last look at Lady Eve, turns her feet the other way to begin walking away from lady Eve, when Dalia is pushed back, by a force field preventing her from walking away, only for her to look back to see Lady Eve's lips moving in conjuring a spell.
"Do you have any idea as of whom you have decided to be with?" Lady Eve's words begin. "Prince Lucien is not one whom should have a weakling by his side, or one who can't even control her powers, as if you haven't heard of his tales of greatness, and fearfulness one whom trespass him faces, then perhaps you should pick your sides well, as with the coming competition, you should never be a weakness to him." Dalia legs moving with each of Lady Eve's words, as with each step comes the rage that follows in her heart.
"How dare you?" Dalia's tone hard and menacing "You know nothing about me, neither do you know what I'm capable of. Just because you're a lady doesn't make you better than I am. Don't you ever mention his name in my mouth ever again, cause you know nothing of miles which I would go to protect him." Dalia's gaze stern with fury embedding them, as her words come heavy from her heart, that she neither recognizes when the earth beneath her begins to tremble, until it shakes her off her feet.
Seeing her reaction, Lady Eve showcases a proud smile on her lips staring back at Dalia, whereas Dalia brows begins to fold in perplexity at the shaking earth and Lady Eve's appearance.
"Excellent. You have just proven to have the witch blood flowing through your veins." Lady Eve speaks, taking Dalia even more perplexed.
"What are you doing?" Dalia questions Lady Eve in utter dismay at the shaking earth, that she struggles to find her balance.
"Oh Child, I am not doing anything. This is all from you." Lady Eve tells Dalia.
"That's not true. You know I can not use my powers, so why lie?" Dalia becoming more furious again responds.
"That is what you believe, but not what your body does." Lady Eve tells her still with a satisfactory smile retaining her lips. "Now shut up and let me relax you." Lady Eve speaks, all still in stun to Dalia, but what she does realize is that the anger which she feels, seems to subside in less than a second of Lady Eve's words.
"How did you do that?" Dalia's words come relaxed, staring at Lady Eve calmly, while lady Eve let's out a chuckle.
"You have a lot to learn Child." Are lady Eve's first words. "Lesson one, know your strength and weakness, and it seems you have just found your strength Child." Lady Eve adds.
"And what is that?" Dalia inquires already knowing her answer, but chooses to confirm it.
"He is your strength Child, didn't you hear the gravity of your words and the power which surged through you while you spoke of him." Lady Eve reminds Dalia, as she gulps dearly, recalling each and every of her actions.
The feeling, the anger and fury which soared through her, while lady Eve spoke about Lucien. The want, and thought of saving and protecting him filled her veins that she didn't know when her own words became actions. Such that she has never felt before, even with Sebastian.
"How did you know?" Dalia finally asks.
"Being a witch, we share feelings. Such feelings of knowing what another feels, which is why, when one witch cries, all follows." Lady Eve tells Dalia, as she gulps again in fear with goosebumps filling her skin.
Lady Eve sees the tremor in Dalia's skin, erupting the reaction she wants from her, as when she was informed of Dalia's case, and how a witch of Dalia's age cannot perform the song of the witches and get a reply, to that Lady Eve became perplexed and decided to take on the job.
Eventually, when she did meet Dalia, and seeing what race she hails from, knowing exactly how such race are filled with powerful witches, yet, Dalia proved different, and had her mind wandering, as it was then, Lady Eve decided to take a plan, only to succeed at the outcome.
"Then teach me. Teach me more." Dalia's words come next, as determination now lays in her eyes, recalling a particular statement of Lady Eve, as, if she wants to remain at Lucien's side she must become just like him.
She must become powerful.
------------
Lucien stares at the blood stain grass that seems to trail for miles, with bodies laying through. His gaze emitting with fury at what these rogues have done to his clan and others.
"They are stronger than we know your highness." Cara who stands besides him speaks, as her own gaze fills with pain. "And other clans are calling with rumors rising of why your highness, is staying still." Cara adds, while Lucien's gaze doesn't leave the bodies.
"Tell me Cara, do you believe I am laying still?" Lucien questions his warrior beside him.
"No your highness." Cara answers diligently, now minding her words.
"What about their trails?" Lucien questions Cara, taking his gaze to meet his omega.
"Vanished your highness. They didn't leave any trail behind, which perplexes because we can't get even a scent." Cara informs Lucien, while he remains silent.
Lucien envisaging in so many ways as of why such issues would arise at a time as this. A time when the competition begins. Lucien takes his gaze back to the bodies, as fury tempt him at who might just be responsible for these threats and war against him, for one thing is certain with the Lucien zeek, as one never seeks his attention without having to make it worth it.
"Then let's find it back." Lucien turns back to face Cara, as she stares at her Alpha with darkness flooding his eyes, knowing better than ever to reject such words from him, especially when his ears no longer hears his name anymore, but that of his wolf.
In seconds, their clothes is taken from their bodies, as the running and puffing of paws against the floor, fills the air, with Lucien's big black wolf leading the way, and Cara's grey wolf following behind him.
As they run through the woods of dead ends against dead ends, that seems to agitate Lucien, sending Adon into a state that he stops in his pace, with his black eyes running through every leaf in his presence and his ears picking out on every sound that a normal wolf would never hear, only that of an Alpha, as Adon's gaze twitches and his nose inhales the air, picking out on a particular familiar scent that sends his hairs rising.
Not wasting a second more, Lucien's paws begin hitting the ground again, with an increased pace, that Cara finds hard to keep up, until Lucien eventually comes to a stop, as both their gazes now stare at a farm house from where they stand.
"Its their scent Alpha," Cara speaking to her Alpha through their linking minds, as her presence now stay beside Lucien, while his remains on the farm house in front of them.
Even with Cara's words, Lucien and Adon neither respond nor act, rather stare at the house in their gaze with utter ire and tumult of what they perceive in the air, apart from the scent of the rogues.
"We were wrong Cara, these are not just rogues." Lucien speaks to his omega as with his words, her hint perks up, with fear pricking Cara's skin awaiting her Alpha's conclusion.
"Amarok is alive." Lucien admits, as his words is enough to make Cara tremble in her wolf, that she lets out a wince of utter terror, as even Lucien now realizes the competition has now become the least of his predicament, for if Amarok lives, so does reign of havoc begins.
