Lightening strike the dark clouds, as they seem to grow brighter from the window Lucien stands close to. His fingers merged together tightly, staring from the window, with his jaw hard as though it may clench. With the recent killings and situation arising in Aveynia, it won't be long before the news fill the ears of people and what they won't know is, Lucien's people are not the one's responsible, but that of a mad man whom has sworn to take everything he loves dear from him. A mad man he thought he had killed. Lucien envisaging hard as of how Amarok still lives, for he recalls taking his heart away from his body, and still yet, the scent he perceived from the farm house, he can never forget it to belong such a mad man that wrecked havoc against him. And not just his scent did Lucien perceive, but he also got a clip of his voice in his ears. While they stayed in the woods, every cell in Adon’s body craved to indulge into the farm house, but Lucien couldn't let it, as one thing which he will always have with Amarok is being ahead of him. Amarok may be ahead now, but Lucien is always ahead at the end of the day, courtesy to his patience. And even if he did indeed wanted to listen to Adon, his omega whom stayed by his side was not in anyway ready for battle, as the trauma of Amarok still haunts her till date. Lucien still trying to battle his memory as of how Amarok can still live, when a knock comes through his door. He takes his attention away from the brightening clouds, to his door, while he gives permission for entry into his study. As the door knobs bends, so does Lucien's excitement begin to race even without seeing the person, as her smell alone in the air, confirms whom it is. Dalia. Dalia's gaze first of all roams around Lucien's study, before her eyes come to settle on a particular green ones, and a smile fills her lips, replacing the perplexed one she has earlier. On seeing her, Lucien doesn't wait for her to act, before he begins walking towards her till he's towering against her height with a smile on his lips. As though every worry in Lucien's skin diminishes while he stares at Dalia in front him, Lucien pulls Dalia closer to him with a hand on her waist as that get a giggle out her, feeling his impatience. "Look who is impatient and still yet, didn't come to find me." Dalia speaks still with a smile on her lips, with her words coming true. "I apologize deeply... Today hasn't been the best of days." Lucien informs Dalia, while her gaze sees through the difficulty in his tone. "Did something happen?" Dalia asks Lucien, as his gaze resumes back to her, seeing the pure innocent soul that lays beneath the brown skin of hers. On the outside she may prevail to be a stubborn, hard cold woman, but within the week and half he has come to know her, he realizes just how fragile she is. So fragile that he never wants to burden or break. "Yes, but we can leave that for later. First, I want to hear about your day with Lady Eve." Lucien's hands on Dalia's waist leaves slowly, while they move to hold Dalia’s hands, taking her to seat on the sofa in his study. "Oh, lady Eve!” Dalia speaks energized, as that gets a chuckle out of Lucien, seeing her reaction to the woman, knowing exactly how a handful Lady Eve can be. "Can you believe she was truculent to me?" Dalia informs Lucien. "On your first day?" Lucien responds back with an unbelievable smile. "Exactly. She casted a trapping spell on me when I decided to leave, after getting on my nerves to the very last bit," Dalia continues. "Well, I can count on Lady Eve for that." Lucien admits. "But, more so, her actions did come with great result, as she seems to have made me find my strength within it all." Dalia speaks as this time, her voice neither comes energized, but calm, staring at Lucien. "Looks like there is progress within all." Lucien admits with a smile, before calming to see the seriousness in Dalia's eyes. "And what is your strength, if I may know?" Lucien adds, adjusting his position to face Dalia oppositely. "That I am not saying, as it will remain a secret between I and Lady Eve." Dalia speaks, now with a chuckle invading her lips, as Lucien beats her to it. "And this becomes my reason why I do not indulge in woman affairs." Lucien admits earning a genuine chuckle from Dalia. "I knew picking Lady Eve will be best for you, and yes, it doesn't always look like that at the very beginning, because of how hard she trains and pushes the mind, but, I guarantee you that, she will be a very good teacher to you." Lucien advices Dalia, as she listens to him carefully. "Thank you." Dalia nods her head gently in acceptance, with her hands moving to have her fingers entangled with Lucien. "Tell me about your day,"  Dalia speaks lowly having her fingers play with Lucien's. "Nothing appreciative to talk about. Unlike yours, " Lucien speaks with a smile on his lips, while Dalia senses his hesitance to not want to confide in her. "Yet, you seem to have trouble confiding in me." And with a person like Dalia, Lucien does expect a response as this to him. "Nothing of that nature, my dear. I just do not wish to burden you with my experience." Lucien says, while his other hand moves to caress the skin on Dalia's face. "I am not certain about you, but I want to know everything about you. I want to know what you eat, how you feel, what you do, I even want to be by your side every second. And as disturbing as that sounds to me, I want it. Such feeling that I have never encountered in my existence, yet, with you I..." Dalia unaware of her proclamation gets lost in her own words, that Lucien himself begins to feel guilty of her words to him. Guilty in sense that he knows what she feels, indeed he feels the same and even more than she can envinsage, yet, he chooses to withdraw telling Dalia reasons for such feeling. Lucien not able to keep the control in him anymore, especially having such proclamation of feelings to him from Dalia, his hands pull her closer to him, till he is having his lips on hers, earning a quick reaction from Dalia. Her hands instantly moving to circle his neck, as she caress the skin there, feeling every butterfly and electricity that surge through her to even be more closer to him. Lucien's lips leave hers softly, as they descend her neck, sucking and nibbling on the side of her neck, almost painfully, yet, Dalia doesn't feels so, but the immense pleasure she gains from having Lucien's teeth rub against her neck hardly, whereas Lucien on the other hand, battle with the constant erection of his fangs from seeping into Dalia's skin. Not being able to have control, Lucien takes his lips abruptly against Dalia, taking her by immense perplexity at his actions, especially when he moves away from her, and gets up from the sofa. "Lucien..." Dalia's words come gradually as she also gets up, perplexing at Lucien's attitude, which has not just happened for the first time. Lucien upon hearing his name, fights the control Adon is trying to gain, as if by mistake he let's Adon take charge, they wouldn't be having discussion anymore, and Dalia will be thrown into the lycan world without no information or lectures. "A great enemy of mine has resurfaced Dalia," Lucien begins, as he now turns his face back to Dalia, seeing her confusion. "A great enemy I thought I had defeated, one that almost took everything from me, and is about to again. " Lucien continues while Dalia listens, trying to connect where his words and their actions merge. "The killings, the bodies that have been dropping recently are not just rogues as I have told you, because I was wrong with the idea of thinking they were just mere rogues." Lucien adds. "But, as of recent, today for a fact, I decided to find out who just is seeking my presence with the trail of more bodies I found today, only to come to a conclusion of being an enemy of mine. A werewolf like me." Lucien explains, whereas Dalia only keeps shut, listening and understanding his words gradually. "His name is Amarok and the last time he was here, he stripped me of something of mine, something till date I can never diminish from my memory. My brother." Lucien informs Dalia, as her voice whimpers with no words to come out of them, feeling an unbearable sadness, she neither knows if it is from Lucien's words or himself directly. "So Dalia, because of that, I wish to protect you with my life, as if anything is to happen to you, I may not survive it." Lucien walks closer to Dalia, staring into her orbs vividly. "And you are, you are doing exactly that Lucien." Dalia tries to assure him, with her hands moving to roam his. "You do not understand Dalia. Amarok is coming for everything that I hold dearly, and I know you'll be the first he'll come for." Lucien admits to Dalia, as her gaze goes wide in fear that she gulps hard. "I don't understand, do I perhaps know him?" Dalia questions with a racing heart. "Not at all Dalia, but I do. And I am certain of my words." Lucien tells her. "And how can you be certain of such, you shouldn't say such and jinx your words with the heavens..." “Oh Dalia, the heavens do know intently about this.” Lucien cuts Dalia off, while her gaze remains in him. “I do not understand your words Lucien, what is it you mean?” Dalia perplexed of Lucien’s words speak out, while her heart races suddenly for the fear of Lucien’s response. "What I mean Dalia’s is, there is something in the lycan world called, a mate." And with the words of Lucien's solemnity, Dalia stares straight at Lucien with her eyes going wide open with such information. "What did you say?"
