Run Adon, run!

Stomping. That is all that can be heard, along with the heavy breathing that follows such speed and strength that Lucien runs through the woods, with the constant reminder of his words to Adon's ears. "Run Adon, run!" And with each stomp, so does the other goes faster and harder. Never in Lucien's existence has he ever made a decision, one as reckless as the one he has just taken. One which he knows would definitely strike him right at his back, but at this moment Lucien cares nothing of such, as the one thing which clouds his head and judgement is that of a woman named, Dalia. As Lucien's day will go, he finally has received enough intel to strike Amarok where he base, as the advantage which he did have, is one that Amarok didn't know Lucien knows of his existence, but as of now where Lucien leaves a mission half completed, signaling his trails to Amarok, it doesn't take a layman to know Amarok will now have to change his strategies. Yet, all these feel useless to Lucien, with the only thing being in his mind is the banging feeling he felt while on the run earlier, as the only way such feeling could have occurred to him, is by his mate bond with Dalia. Lucien, being one to be observant doesn't need the feeling to be excruciating before he realizes that something indeed has occurred to Dalia, as per, perks of having found ones mate, is the pull and sharing of feelings they do get. Cara and the rest of Lucien's army all follow suit behind him, perplexing at the thought of why their king will leave such an ambush which is perfectly planned for a commoner such as Dalia, as it has just come to their hearing that, the same commoner may indeed become their Luna. The trail and stomping of werewolves follow behind Lucien, as when they do get back to their home, Lucien doesn't waste a second before changing back to his human form, getting new pairs of clothes and dashing into the room which Dalia's scent leads him to. His steps halting, with his gaze staring at the bed to find Dalia's body laying unconscious, as pangs of guilt can't help but flood him, regarding their previous discussion and how it ended. "Lucien?" Lagartha whom is in the room, turns swiftly to stare at her son whom is supposed to be on a critical mission.  "How are you here?" Lagartha adds, still not getting a response from her son, whom has his gaze fixed on his unconscious mate. "Why didn't you inform me?" Lucien questions with his gaze moving to his mother. "And why should I have, you clearly should not be here and should be ending Amarok by now. Yet, it seems either I told you or not, you are here." Lagartha clearly offended with Lucien's presence, as the words need not to be spelled to her that her son has made a reckless move. "She is my mate mother..."  "And do you envisage I do not know that!" Lagartha snapping at her son, as Lucien's eyes go wide at his mother's outburst to him. "Perhaps, if you had informed her about this before you pushed her into this world, she may not be here now and you would have succeeded with that mad man." Lagartha, clearly irritated and offended by the mere mention of Amarok's name spits out, and why wouldn't she? As such a mad man, took the life of her son. "No mother, you do not get the right to say such to me, as you know vividly of what the outcome would have been, for me to approach Dalia in such terms that she knew nothing of." Lucien now raging with anger speaks back to his mother. "The decision I took, is one I do not regret, because I rather have her in my presence, than not have her at all, and you of all persons know just how scary and tough such world can be. So tell me, will you still have advised me to speak of such to her at first appearance?" Lucien questions his mother squarely. "Yet, here she is battling her emotions that seems to drive her to a state of unconsciousness." Lagartha speaks back with now a lower voice, staring back at her son. Lucien stays mute with Lagartha's words, with his gaze moving back to stare at Dalia in a state of Deja vu, as the last time something of such happened, Lucien was the one saving her, but now, he seems to be her reason for such state. —————— The sun illuminating through the transparent glass eagerly, as for the time of the day, such amount of sun rays should still be behind the clouds. Lucien's gaze averts back to the cradle beside him, rocking it gently as to put back Sebastian back to sleep, who seems to stir conditionally. With Lucien's attention on Sebastian, his ears perk on the slight movements of the one beside him, as his body shifts instantly, leaving the infant to dangle on his own, while he pays maximum attention to Dalia who seems to be regaining consciousness. Dalia groans on the bed, before her eyes finally make contact with the white ceiling that meets her eyes first, before a certain familia scent fill her nose, turning her head instantly to see the source. Lucien. With want and longing do the two lock gaze on each other, as to one seeing the other recovers the uniqueness, while the other melts at the sight, that her thinking feigns amnesia of the past occurrence. "You're awake," is Lucien's first words to Dalia, as his lips still stay parted open to say more. "I assumed you had an emergency, yet your presence is here?" Dalia's words comes next, questioning Lucien, at the same time stating her discomfort for him not informing her about his mission. "I came back as soon as I felt your unconsciousness." Lucien responds truthfully, as Dalia stares at him perplexed. "Felt my unconsciousness?" Dalia asks with a scoff, while she tries to raise herself from the bed, when she winces at the slight pain from her head. Lucien noticing her discomfort, rushes with his grip to assist her, as with the mere touch of their skin to skin, sends Dalia's body to burn and Lucien to hiss internally at the sharpness and longing of their bodies to each other. Dalia gaze meets with that of Lucien, as she almost get lost in his eyes, when she recalls of how Lucien sees her as unworthy in his eyes. Dalia shifts her body away from Lucien's grip, with her gaze still remaining on him, as she watches the hurtful look created as his expression at her actions, one which her heart pangs for it, yet, necessary. Lucien seeing her reactions, kindly takes his grip off Dalia gently, as he stares with hurt in his eyes. "You won't accept my assistance any longer," Lucien makes his statement with his gaze not once descending away from Dalia. "Because your assistance is one which will cloud my judgment, and at this moment that we're in, I detest so." Dalia's words coming hard, as all she can recall is the length at which Lucien could hide such information from her, which only justifies her response to him. "You detest my assistance to you?" Lucien with stun in his eyes questions Dalia vividly. "You kept such information away from me Lucien. Do you envisage any idea as of how I battled myself thinking I was off limits to you, thinking I am never going to be good for you and all I feel is just your kindness seeping in my heart to create affections, while you knew all those while, you knew that it was more than natural, yet, because you see me as unworthy to be your mate, you chose to keep it to yourself." Dalia's words with pain. "Tell me Lucien, why exactly did you even ask me to be your second, if you knew I was never going to be enough for you? Why let me in, only to shatter me?" Dalia questions Lucien as at easy as her words come, so does the watering of her eyes. "Never in my existence, since I saw you did I ever lie to you, or ever think you less of whom you are. And if you think I did, then why waste my time in taking you and introducing you to my world?" Lucien turns her question around. "Do you befit me of such cruelty and mischief of a person? " Lucien adds, with stun and hurt of Dalia's words to him. "My world is a dangerous world, one that should not be pushed on anyone, but by willingness which I decided to give you, as I will never force you for anything you wish not to do, due to how much of my heart you hold, yet, it seems all I do is only to be seen as a liar and betrayal." Even if Dalia didn't want the tear to stroll down her eyes, with Lucien's words it does, as she feels the melancholy and hurt in his tone. "I should be taking down the one who killed my brother, as I speak to you now Dalia, but I couldn't. I couldn't do any of that, because I knew you were not alright and no ambush or war could prevent the rushing of my body to see you." Lucien confessing words of love and affection that he envisaged he is going to do in the most romantic way possible, yet, here he stays confessing in a state of melancholy. "And all these I should have known, if only you came true with your words from the beginning and didn't make me feel dumb." As though, Dalia not understanding any of Lucien's words as the only thing that seems to cloud her judgement is the feeling of Lucien keeping such news from her, in other words, betraying her. "Yet, I question myself as of why you didn't just reject me if you think less of me." Dalia adds, as that takes Lucien's gaze to go wide. "I will never reject you..." "You may not reject me, yet, I choose to say different!" Dalia's words cuts Lucien off in a state that, Lucien's mouth go agape as he stares at Dalia in disbelieve of her words with his gaze full in disappointment and hurt. "I know, I can choose to accept the bond or reject it." Dalia makes her statement clear, as without going further with her words, Lucien envisages her reply, as the high and mighty Lucien zeak, finds his body trembling. "But, I will neither do either Lucien, as I will promise you on this day that I will make myself worthy of your acceptance, then I will make my decision." And with the last words of Dalia, Lucien gazes at the woman in front of him vividly, while he questions the heavens for making him a patient man, as if he hadn't been one, perhaps he may have informed Dalia at the very beginning and have a mate by his side.
