I’ll be in surgery at 6 am..” She began to speak in very technical medical terms and then she hung up the phone without saying goodbye. She picked up her bag and coat and she walked over and kissed my cheek “I really have to go, I have an early start tomorrow, see you next week” I walked her to the door and waved her off. I watched her walk along the long hallway and I couldn’t believe that even her walk turned me on. Although I didn’t want her to leave I did want a bit of time on my own to process my whole evening with her. She was like a dream come true but I knew I had to wake up and get back to reality.
