Shadow’s pov
I got a call from my lawyer last night saying we needed to be at court today. I was scared but it was happening to fast. What was Shalan up too? So here I was sitting here waiting to go into a room. I felt sick to my stomach.
My lawyer said that Shalan was trying to get visitation rights. He was claiming that he worried about the safety of our children. He never worried about them before. He was the one that was a danger to them.
Using them like a weapon to hurt me. I only hoped the judge could see right through him. My lawyer and I were sitting outside a room waiting to be called in when I saw Shalan and a pregnant woman sit down on a bench by us.
The woman must be Ryder’s ex Karmin. I thought he said that Shalan left her once he found out she was pregnant.
