Ryder’s pov
I got up excited to start my day. I got to work and checked in with my crew. I just wanted to hurry and get over to Shadow. I grabbed a pastry and a coffee then headed to the library.
I was nervous. I really hope that she said yes to a date. I know we both come with baggage, but we can’t let that drama get in the way. We can take our time go on a date and go from there.
I told Karmin I was over her and she needed to go be with the father of her child. I had no problem raising another man’s baby. If I was still with Karmin I would love that baby as my own. But we aren’t together she had an affair and left me for him. So now I am done. I am ready to move on.
