Diesel’s pov
I know walking out like I did was childish. I knew Aria was right. She needed space. She was going to have to find her way again, and I should support that. Her telling me to leave must have been hard on her.
She looked so broken. It killed me to see her like that. Maybe that was why she needed me to leave. I needed to go back in there. I wanted to tell her I would go for now, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to be around when she needed me.
I would wait forever for her. I swallowed my pride and walked back into her room. She looked so small laying there. I wasn’t used to seeing Aria like this. She was right she wouldn’t be able to heal with me around. I would baby her, and she didn’t need that.
