Diesel’s pov
I left the hospital so that Aria could rest after getting the tests done. My head was spinning. She told me she loved me. I felt like I waited a lifetime to hear her say that.
Now I was waiting again until she felt whole again. What if she never felt whole? I was scared. Her telling me she loved me changed things for me. I wanted to start the future I had always imagined with her.
I hated to do this, but I needed some time away to think. I know I can’t rush her. If I do, I will lose her. So, I need to just take a step back.
