Alexa’s pov
I couldn’t stop thinking about Jacob. I messed everything up so bad. Jacob stuck true to his word and got me a job. It was with a really great law firm. The only problem was it was back home.
I called my realtor and told her to take my house off the market. I was coming back home. I called the firm and told them I would take the job.
I wanted to fix things with Jacob. I should have told him my fears instead of just running away like a coward. I know it’s not going to be easy. I hurt him.
This was all on me. If I had talked to him maybe, we could have worked this all out. I didn’t know how everyone would take me coming back home. I left everyone behind without a word.
