Diesel’s pov
Once I got back home Aria’s parents came to me wanting to know how their daughter was. We sat and talked for hours. They weren’t happy that I left her, but I told them it was what Aria needed.
I told them when she did come home that they needed to let Aria control what happens. They needed to not take over. Her father looked like he was ready to kill me. Her mother just cried.
I know this was a shock for them, and a parent’s worst fear. I just know that Aria is the type that needs that control. Right now, everything she knew is gone. I finally understood what she was trying to say.
She was stronger than I think even she knew. It only made me love her so much more. I knew once she was ready, I was going to ask her to marry me. She was the one for me.
