Empress reborn

Ch 1

Eileen woke up from her sleep and found herself in a familiar, yet unfamiliar room. She tried getting up but she felt a stinging pain in her back. A maid with black hair and a dull brown eyes came rushing in to the room and said, "Miss please don't get up on your own., the burn in your back will not heal fast,okay?"as she helped Eileen get up.

She handed Eileen a glass of water and said,"I'll prepare your bath your majesty" and left. Eileen got off the bed and walked towards the mirror. When she saw herself she dropped the cup causing the cup to crash creating a loud noise. She had turned into a very young version of herself around 8 years.

Suddenly the door flew open and the maid from earlier, a young man with blonde hair, green eyes and a young lady with red hair, green eyes came rushing into the room.

The young lady looked at every part of her body to see if she was alright,she hugged her and gave a loud sigh of relief.

Even the young man and the maid looked relieved and smiled at her. Eileen, though confused, at who they were, replied,"I'm fine, I was just feeling a little tired,I'm sorry. I'll go take bath first,please excuse me."

The maid came and held her hand and led her to the bathroom, steadying Eileen as to not hurt her back.

She went into the bath and told the maid to stay outside and to make sure no one came in. The maid insisted to help her but Eileen shunned her and closed the doors behind her.

Eileen got undressed and looked at the mirror to see a fresh burn on her back. She stepped into the tub of water and closed her eyes. Suddenly her eyes widened as she remembered those people she had just met.

She was Eileen Monte, an illegitimate daughter of king Monte. Sarah Zellweger was the teacher of his two children. Though they were very close, they had no such relationship but one night as they drank and talked about all their sorrows the accident happened and Eileen was born,though at the same time Sarah died.

His two children were Leo and Emily, the crown prince and his elder sister. Their mother was Ruth Monte. Unlike other royal stories,Eileen was rather loved by everyone because teacher Sarah was a really kind hearted and good person.

She remembered that the two young people earlier were her siblings, Leo and Emily and the maid was Lily, her personal maid.

In her past life the reason why she came to Reagon Empire was because she was burnt and to protect her she was sent there.

I will not allow this to happen again, she thought.

She wrapped herself with a towel and walked out, Lily had already laid out her clothes and so she immediately got dressed and had her hair done. Lily parted her hair into two and bunned it. Eileen was so embarasses to wear her hair like that it she just decided to wear it.

***Later at the family dinner***

Emily, Let's send Lin-lin to another Empire. Reagon Empire is the best option... Eileen shuddered on hearing the name of that Empire.

Yes Leo, I think that will be the best and safest place for her.

NO!!!! I mean sorry, but I don't want to go to Reagon Empire .

"Lin-lin, you have no other choice, you listen to us okay?" Emily said

Instead of going there, brother Leo please allow me to learn to wield a sword, Eileen said.

"What?," explain Emily ,"a lady does not wield a sword"

Why do you want to learn it, asked Leo.

I have a right to learn it to protect this Empire when the two of you are not around. At least for self defence right?

That makes sense, you do have to learn to protect yourself. Okay then, I'll arrange a teacher for you to start learning as soon as you're feeling alright.

"What?Leo! Have you lost your mind, this fragile little lady will not hold a sword!!!" Emily shouted as she got up.

She needs to learn it, remember how you nearly lost your life?...I will not want the same thing to happen to Lin-lin as well. She may be a lady but let her just learn a few basics for self defence alright?

Thank you sister,Eileen said as she ran and hugged Emily.

"Let's use a little bit of kid's cuteness" Eileen thought and gave a wicked smile behind Emily's back.

The rest of the dinner continued in peace and Eileen thought in her head," I'm glad I have a family. The Guilliam's were just as good if they had not betrayed me like that.. I will make them regret ever messing with me.... Hahahahaha...", Eileen began laughing hysterically and Leo and Emily just stared at her in surprise.

Eileen stopped laughing and there was a dead silence in the room as they all stared at one another. Eileen got up and said," Thank you for the food, I'll go visit father "and she ran out from the room.

Being a kid just gave her so much energy that she ran around everytime. She knocked on her father's door and said, "Can I come in?"

Eileen remembered that even her past life, she had never been close to her father beacuse he was always been to war or was covered in blood which scared her but now blood was a normal sight for her because she had already died once.

Come in.

Eileen pushed open the door and ran to her father. The king was a middle-aged man, he was lying on his bed. He had injured his thigh in the war and hence he ahd his dinner in his room. He beamed with joy on seeing Eileen.

She told her father that she'd be learning how to hold a sword and told him everything a kid could ever really talk about and the king listened to it all with a smile in his face.

"Ok then papa, I hope you get well soon", Eileen said.

I hope you do too Lin-lin, the king replied with a big smile.

I'll be off now bye bye, goodnight.

Goodnight

Eileen walked back to her room.

She called for Lily soon after and asked Lily to clean up and make a comfortable spot in the royal library. Because she knew that it was going to be one long spring...
