NEGOTIATION

Before going to Victor's room, Ellena had already gone to the pantry to make Victor coffee. Ellena came in with the tray, and the Note app on standby open on the phone tucked in her skirt pocket. "Excuse me, Sir." Ellena peeked at the end of the door. "Hmm, come in!" Victor said with a glance, then looked down seriously again with his tablet. "I brought you coffee, sir." "Just put it here," said Victor flatly. Ellena stepped forward slowly and placed Victor's coffee on the table. "Before reading your next schedule. Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" "Close the door!" "Okay sir." Ellena returned to the door and closed it tightly. Click. "Key!" said Victor flatly. "Huh? K-key?" Victor lifted his face and looked at Ellena with a lazy look while biting the pen tablet. "Wh-why must it be locked, sir?" "Elle, you want to argue with me?" "N-no sir." Don't want to fight Victor and get into trouble. Elle immediately followed Victor's orders to lock the door in the exclusive room. Her heart was beating again. All thoughts of how to escape were playing in his mind again. In addition, Ellena tries to strengthen her mind to remain professional in dealing with a man with a million charms. Ellena held her forefinger and turned to look at Victor. Victor was still seriously looking at his work. "When you're done locking the door. Come here!" Victor ordered in an even tone. Gleg! Ellena swallowed saliva. She squeezed her hand and stepped forward with a single breath. "Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?" Victor just kept quiet and typed on the laptop seriously. He was occasionally seen scrolling the tablet. Ellena waited in her position. She was staring at Victor, who was frowning in thought-reading, marking things on his tablet, holding his lips, thinking. And for some reason, Ellena was stunned to look at him. I just noticed him, or does he always look handsome when he's serious? Elle said in her heart. "Sir?" Victor raised his hand. He was signaling Ellena to wait a bit. He was serious about his work again. Ellena sighed and went back to waiting. Not long after a few breaths. Victor put his tablet on the table. He bent his elbows and folded his arms on the table. Now his face and gaze focused on Ellena. "How are you? Feeling better already?" Elena smiled politely. "It's better sir. Thank you for your attention." Victor smiled briefly, then took the coffee cup beside him. Sip it with a mumble of pleasure. "Hmm, your coffee is getting better every day." "That's impossible, sir. The dose is the same every day. The brand of coffee, sweetener and water used is still the same, "said Elle with a smile. Victor chuckles. "Tsk! You're in no-compliment mode?" "I accept realistic compliments," Ellena smiled again, raising her eyebrows. Victor raised his folded hands and supported his chin. "Is there anything I can help you with, sir? It will be lunch soon, and according to the schedule today you will have lunch with the mayor." Victor nodded. "You come with me." "Hmm? But accordingly—" "I don't accept excuses." "Okay sir." Elena immediately agreed. Victor squinted his eyes at Ellena. "You look a little pale. Are you okay?" "Ah." Elena smiled. "I'm fine sir. Sorry, maybe my make-up today is only minimal because I'm hunting with time." "Are you sure?" "Yes sir. I am fine." "Sorry to get you drunk last night." "No problem, sir. Thank you for the gift." "I want to take you home. But you didn't answer when I asked you." "Excuse me sir. Thank you for your good intentions father." Victor massaged his neck. "Last night I couldn't sleep well. My neck feels tight." "I'll call your personal doctor." Elena was immediately alert with her cellphone. "Oh, you don't have to. Maybe just need a little massage." "I'll call a Professional masseuse." "No need. Just you!" "Me?" "Hmm…." Victor mumbled as he nodded, closing his eyes. "But I can't-" "I know you can do anything. You are Elle, not an ordinary secretary." "Ehm… s-alright." Ellena advanced slowly in an alert position. She helped Victor open his coat. Then gently massaged Victor's shoulder. "Are you free tonight?" "Hey?" "We're having dinner at my house." "Ah, did Mrs Stoner invite us to dinner?" "Not in the main house. But at my house." Ellena stopped her massage and nodded. "Sorry sir, but I already have an appointment." "Who with? Manager Han?" Elena let out a short laugh. "Right, sir." Victor nodded. "Okay, thank you. Let's go to the appointment with the mayor. Just ask Mr. Wilson to drive. You don't have to drive yet." After finishing his sentence, Victor immediately stood up and took his coat. Ellena was stunned to see Victor, who suddenly acted cold and followed behind him. *** *In the car. Ellena sat in the back seat at Victor's request. Meanwhile, Mr. Wilson drove quietly. Ellena began to speak. "Did I hear you receive guests. Is there anything I can help you about it?" "Just an old friend. He suddenly called me. I haven't had time to tell you." "Okay. Do I need to save his contact? Who knows one day you will need to contact him." "No need. I'll contact him myself, you need something." "Oh, alright." "We've arrived. Did you bring the proposal and the contract?" asked Victor as he straightened his back and buttoned his coat. "Yes sir. It's ready," Ellena answered firmly. *** They also had lunch together with the mayor. The conversation accompanied by light jokes seemed to take quite a lot of time. Don't want to linger with the chat, Victor and Ellena immediately discussed their intention to discuss several projects that could be considered beneficial for both parties. The Diamond Group will continue to grow, while employment opportunities for workers from the surrounding area will be opened and will certainly further advance the city's economy. Taxes? It will certainly become one of the incomes that can advance infrastructure. What else needs to be considered? Victor's negotiating language, plus Ellena's sweeteners, can make the mayor willingly put his signature on a piece of paper worth billions. Today's business is running well and can be said to be a success. Victor and Ellena returned to the office with a triumphant smile. *** *On the way back to the office. "You're getting better at negotiating, secretary Elle." "Oh, thank you, sir. I learned a lot from you." "I admit, without you what can I do," said Victor smiling faintly while glancing at Elle, who was sitting with her legs together and her back straight beside her. "I'm not that important sir. I've been prepared to help you. If I can and one day I will not be by your side. Other people can do it too." "Not by my side?" Victor raised his eyebrows at Elle sharply, and his face turned serious. He tilted his body closer to Elle. Elle squeezed her hand and remained still in her position. Victor leaned closer to Elle, then whispered in her ear, "I won't let you leave my side, Elle. Just watch you will be bound forever with me." DEG!
