VICTOR STONER AND HIS SECRETARY

1810 Words
Elle fell silent in shock. His heart was beating fast. Victor's breath made her shiver even more. Ellena turned her face slowly towards Victor, but Victor immediately pulled his face back. Then smiled a little while looking ahead. "Prepare for the next meeting. We have to start faster." Ellena was silent for a moment looking at Victor. "Okay sir." *** As usual, Ellena swiftly helped Victor's every need. Even for things that Victor has not said, Ellena has swiftly anticipated everything needed. Compared to other employees, Elle is indeed the one who has the highest initiative. That's why Victor likes him so much and feels significantly helped by Elle's presence. Since Ellena's education, Victor has been changing secretaries. No one can stand his nature. He does have high standards. It's not impossible, but it takes more time to learn and balance how things work, as well as Victor's way of thinking. If it weren't the secretary who gave up, then Victor would have fired them first. Or he can purposely move people who don't match with him to another section in one command. I don't know how many l****s of tears have been shed because of 'the Boss', who is always a perfectionist about work. Yes, 'The Boss' is the nickname given to him by employees. His attitude is sometimes very bossy, as long as he plays orders and points, thinking that everyone can easily understand his heart's intentions. No one can match it quickly. His nature of not 'accepting any excuse' makes many people depressed. If they are not mentally strong, they will lose their jobs. *** Where there is a company, there are also employees. And where there are employees, there are lunch groups and friendship groups. And what is clear is that where there is a group of friends, there is gossip. They often praise him for having a beautiful face. But many also consider him to be cruel because he has never been seen close to women. His life is just work, work and work. No time for women. He was not even partying. Victor is considered too ambitious and always sets 'impossible' targets for the company. The board of directors appointed Victor to be CEO when the Diamond group was on the verge of collapse. Either they did it on purpose to test it. Or to get the Stoners out of there. Victor seemed to be immediately shot with a severe problem. However, he slowly made things gradually stabilize with a very effective strategy. His success did not come easily. He even almost gave up in his first two years. Then Ellena appeared, with the passion and optimism her mother had promised. Ellena is determined to do her best on behalf of her mother. The days that Ellena lived were not easy. A woman raised him without a husband. Elena never knew her father. So much scorn and humiliation from people who were jealous of his mother's success. Ellena had often swallowed sneers as if her mother didn't have a good name, and she could only raise her from the bosses' money. But this did not necessarily make Ellena and her mother give up. The mouths of the scorners were silent when Ellena's mother reaped so many achievements. Unfortunately, at the peak of her career, Elisabeth, Elle's mother, had to fall ill and pass away. He left the idea he was working on regarding the company's problems and threats in the Diamond Group. And sure enough, a few years later, the Diamond Group almost fell. She was handing over the leadership to Victor just like that. Although gradually improving, but only one mistake. So, everything was destroyed. Ellena continues her mother's projects and ideas. He came to bring fresh air to Victor. With a few modifications, Victor managed to get the Diamond Group out of the crisis. Elle gave her best effort. Well, Ellena excels because her focus will be on the Diamond Group as a top priority. Her mother had given her all the tips and tricks. It's tough, but Elena can do it. Gradually Elena got better. She is not only able to match Victor but also exceeds the hopes and expectations of Victor Stoner. *** Victor is already sitting behind his desk. Ellena stood in front of the desk while giving the final report, also confirming the next schedule. "Everything is done sir. Your strategy regarding the new project will be implemented soon. If the predictions of the data are correct, this will increase the company's turnover by 10%." "Hmmm," Victor nodded while biting his forefinger. "Thanks for counting Elle." "Today's schedule is complete, sir. You can go back to rest. Tomorrow will be followed by an evaluation and coordination meeting. An appointment with a guest from New York, followed by an examination and signing of some documents that you need to check." "Hmm, okay." Victor exhaled. "So what about my offer earlier?" "Offer?" "About having dinner together? Do you really not want to come with me?" "Excuse me sir. For tonight I can't." "Are you sure?" Elena looked down. "Excuse me, sir." "You will regret rejecting me, Elle." Elena was silent for a moment. He took a deep breath as he closed his eyes. A few seconds later, after being mentally ready. Ellena raised her head and looked straight at Victor. "Lately your attitude looks different sir. I have known you for 7 years. I know a little about my father. Is there a problem, sir? Is there anything I can do to help with that?" Hearing Ellena's words, Victor immediately lowered his gaze down. Staring blankly while propping his chin. Ellena spoke again, "Mr. Victor, I will always be by your side to support you. I work specifically for you. You can tell me if you don't mind. I'm here, sir," said Elle softly. Victor snorted and smiled lopsidedly. "Really? Always beside me, you say? Even tonight you leave me alone and don't want to accompany me? Can you keep your word, Elle's secretary?" Ellena was silent for a moment and blinked her eyes rapidly. Ellena looked back at Victor and asked hesitantly. "Is there a problem with the Stoners, sir? Is something bothering you?" Victor was silent for a moment and looked at Ellena sharply. "Tsk! So that's your thoughts? I have a problem? You think I don't really like you?" DEG! Ellena took a deep breath, steeling her mind for this conversation that had touched her feelings. "You wouldn't be able to act like this if you liked someone, sir." "Then how do you think I should behave? Now you want to manage me too, Elle?" Victor's tone began to rise. Elena's heart was beating faster and faster. His fingertips felt cold. "N-that's not what I meant, sir." "Then?" Victor raised his eyebrows waiting for Ellena's answer. Elena was silent. He didn't know what else to say. Ellena was too scared to come back to her opinion. Victor stood up from his spot and approached Ellena. "See? You can't even answer." Victor stepped closer to Ellena. He immediately pulled Ellena's waist close to his body. Without preparation, Ellena couldn't dodge. He only had time to bend his elbows and rest his arms on Victor's chest. Elena was nervous about this state of affairs. Victor looked at him very deeply. His irises popped. Ellena could even see the reflection of her face in Victor's eyes. Victor tightened his grip on Ellena's slender waist. He raised his left hand and held Ellena's right hand tightly. Ellena gasped as she returned Victor's gaze. Part of his body felt warm with the hug. With an authoritative baritone voice as well as a gaze that never let his guard down. Victor said quietly and filled with intonation filled with seriousness. "I know you really want me too Elle… the way you look at me. Your attitude and mood. Even in our current position. I can feel the vibrations of your body responding to me." DEG! DEG! DEG! Elle's heart was beating faster and faster. All the feelings suddenly swelled in her mind. Ellena even felt an electric current shock her to her fingertips. Elle couldn't breathe properly. Her nervousness made her heartbeat unstable. Oxygen seems reluctant to enter perfectly. Ellena was breathing at two times the usual rate. Victor's gaze intimidated her. Victor squeezed Ellena's wrist even more. Leave it silent. He slowly broke through Ellena's self-defence. Victor advances his face with a sad and seductive look. His eyes moved and targeted Ellena's lips. Ellena kept her eyes on Victor. She lifted her hand from Victor's chest and moved her fingers to Victor's neck and ears. Ellena continued to crawl her hands and moved to the side of Victor's face. Her fingers opened and stretched on either side of Victor's cheeks and held his face. "Mr. Victor, I have great respect for you. Everything will be fine. You don't really want me." Ellena's words instantly made Victor's activities stop. His eyes shifted to meet Elena's round eyes. Victor immediately loosened his grip and wrapped his arms around Ellena's waist. He looked at Elena with a meaningful look. Before releasing Ellena's body completely, Victor whispered. "Even for 7 years you were with me. You don't really understand what I want now. I didn't know you were this naive Elle." Victor released Elle's body completely. He straightened his slightly raised coat. Then he put his hands in his pants pockets. "Go as you wish tonight. You're still going to come back to me anyway right? Isn't that Elle's secretary?" Victor smiled so coldly as he looked at Elle. His face instantly turned flat. Without smiling, Victor immediately stepped out of the room. He was leaving Elena just where she was. Ellena fell silent again and froze in her position. The sound of the door closing made Ellena blink. She rubbed her chest worriedly. Her brows furrowed. All her life, she worked with Victor, only this time he felt completely unfamiliar with him. Elena couldn't guess anymore. Now her heart is racing. Ellena continued to hold her chest and tried to regain her breathing. She turned around and looked at the closed door. Ellena released the breath she was holding in a long exhalation from her open mouth. "Is he serious?" "What does he really want?" "Could it be that he really wants me that deep? But, if that's true. When I'm drunk. He should be…." Huuffttt. Elena took a deep breath. But that did not in the least calm the anxiety that arose in her heart. Her brain is completely blank now. Victor's words were able to pierce deep into her heart. Ellena looked back at the closed door with a dazed look. Her brows continued to arch to the centre. Ellena took a deep breath and said quietly. "Mr. Victor, what should I do?"
