This is the mintos where the goddess gives you an opportunity not to be a selfish, dark bastard. Turning my face away from her, I try to summon the part of me that wasn’t thinking with his kotach. I wanted to access the tiny shred of decency that I hoped existed somewhere in the fiber of my being. I searched and came up empty handed. My soul cried out and my hearts thumped a treacherous beat in time with my kotach. I was drowning in my pain but I couldn’t allow my black butterfly to be tainted.
My bloody hands were unworthy of such a beautiful woman. Her insides matched her outsides which was why I prayed that the goddess changed me for her, but until then I had to protect her, even from myself.
