My CEO husband hates me.

He believes I deceived him, pretending to be his Luna.

On our wedding night, he hired someone to assault me and then pushed me off a cliff, leaving me disfigured and suffering from amnesia.

But what he doesn't know is that the man I was with that night was actually his twin brother.

Years later, with a changed appearance, I re-encountered his brother while raising our two children.

We fell in love.

When I met my husband again, he didn't recognize me.

Instead, he fell hopelessly in love with me.

Chapter 1 A Night of Betrayal
Martha Jones woke up at dawn and reached out to embrace her husband, only to find his side of the bed empty. The previous night had been her wedding night. Her husband, Alfonso Conte, was hailed as a business prodigy by everyone. But to Martha, his bedroom skills might just outshine his business acumen. Beyond that, Alfonso had another identity—he was a werewolf, to be precise, the Alpha of his werewolf pack. The Conte family was one of the oldest and most powerful werewolf lineages, their influence spanning the globe, their wealth unfathomable. As a human girl, Martha had sacrificed a lot to be with Alfonso. She had endured much from the Conte family, even facing life-threatening situations multiple times. As she lay in bed, replaying the perfect night in her mind, a smile crept across her face: "It was all worth it." Her body ached all over, a result of Alfonso's rough actions the previous night. Martha couldn't help but chuckle wryly as she said to herself, 'Well, he was a werewolf; perhaps that wildness ran deep in his blood. And admit it, Martha, you actually enjoyed it.' ***** Just as she was basking in her happiness, the door suddenly swung open. Her husband Alfonso stood at the doorway, but beside him was another woman. "Kate? What are you doing here?" Martha recognized the woman next to Alfonso—Kate, a member of the Conte family. She had always clung to Alfonso, but he had always been cold to her, even scolding her many times. But why were they together? And on the first morning of her marriage? "See, what did I tell you?" Kate said triumphantly, pointing at Martha. "I told you this b***h would be here." Martha sensed something was wrong. She noticed Alfonso's expression had turned as cold as winter ice: "What happened, Alfonso, why are you..." "I never pictured you as such a whore." Alfonso's icy words left Martha stunned. She couldn't understand why the man who had been so passionate last night was suddenly so heartless. Kate seemed pleased with Martha's shocked expression and triumphantly pulled out a tablet. On the screen, a man and a woman were passionately tangled up together. Martha instantly recognized herself, but due to the lighting and angle, the man's face was unclear, only faintly resembling Alfonso's silhouette. "I spent the entire night dealing with the group's urgent issues. Now, you tell me, who is this man?" Alfonso hissed the words through clenched teeth. Martha felt like her mind had been hit with a sledgehammer, leaving her reeling. She managed a strained smile, "Alfonso, darling, what are you talking about? Last night, weren't we..." Kate switched the video, revealing Alfonso seated at a massive conference table, surrounded by people on both sides. The time displayed in the top right corner was indeed last night. Martha almost fainted. "This must be some kind of misunderstanding. Can we talk this through?" "Who is that man?" Alfonso shot the question at her with icy detachment. Martha looked at him in disbelief, her eyes brimming with tears, clinging to a last shred of hope. "How could I betray you? I am your Luna..." "You're not anymore." Kate smirked with satisfaction. "You deceitful b***h, using underhanded tactics to fool Alfonso into thinking you were his Luna. We've already uncovered the truth! And you! Sleeping with another man on your wedding night, worse than a prostitute..." With a sharp "crack," Martha's hand met Kate's face. Kate clutched her cheek, staring at Martha in disbelief. "Say one more word..." Martha's voice trembled with anger, "and I promise it won't be the last slap." Kate, wild with rage, lunged forward, but Alfonso seized her with a firm grip. She turned back in shock, "What are you doing?" "Enough." Alfonso cut off their quarrel with icy finality, unwilling to utter another word. "Have you forgotten what she did to you?" Kate brandished the tablet in her hand. Martha snatched the tablet, smashing it to pieces on the floor. Looking at the enraged Kate, Martha's tone was cold and disdainful, "I'll get you two brand new ones." "With what money?" Kate, her hair wild and disheveled, ranted like a madwoman. "The Jones family is bankrupt, and you're broke now!" Martha stared at her in disbelief, "What did you say?" Kate was utterly cowed by Martha's commanding presence, her cheek still burning with the sting of the slap, which drained the confidence from her voice. "Last night, the Jones family went bankrupt, and your parents couldn't bear it... they jumped off a building!" The news exploded in Martha's mind, leaving her in a daze. She caught the smug grin on Kate's face and the evasive glint in Alfonso's eyes. In that moment, everything clicked into place. "Was this your doing?" Martha demanded. "I never said that," Kate chuckled triumphantly. But Martha's swift punch to Kate's stomach quickly silenced her laughter. Martha stormed off, leaving only a curt declaration: "We're done." Alfonso observed the chaos with an icy detachment, seemingly devoid of emotion. ***** Martha jumped into her car and sped away from the hotel. Her phone buzzed incessantly, confirming the truth of Kate's words. The entire state was abuzz with news of the Jones family's bankruptcy. Martha flung her phone aside and slammed her foot on the gas. "Kill that b***h!" Back at the hotel, Kate, her hair wild, shrieked into her phone, teetering on the brink of hysteria. Alfonso swiftly snatched the phone from her hand. As Kate was about to erupt, Alfonso's icy blue gaze froze her words in her throat. "This ends here. I don't want her dead, understand?" Hearing this, Kate's eyes burned with venom, but she could only nod in agreement. Martha's sports car roared down the coastal highway. Suddenly, a car veered alongside her, slamming into her vehicle without slowing down. With a screech of tires, Martha's car spun out of control, plunging into the endless sea. ***** Much later, back on the shore, a tugboat slowly docked at the port, the battered sports car resting on its deck. A group gathered around, carefully extracting the unconscious Martha from the wreckage. "Yeah, we pulled her out, and the car too," a scruffy man in a suit muttered into his phone, a cigarette dangling from his lips. "Got it. Get her plastic surgery to change her face, erase her memory, and ship her off somewhere new." The man took a long drag from his cigarette, exhaling slowly. "Rest assured, I'll make sure it's a clean job." "No traces left?" "Alright, you're the boss."
