Chapter Thirty-Four It took four days to convince her family. Nothing she said made a difference. It wasn’t until Nicholas had a talk to them that they agreed it might be best. They’d sent her from the room, Ariana warning her not to listen in. She hadn’t been able to resist. Not with how noisy and argumentative they’d been. What had they expected? So she’d sat in her room and given up on trying not to listen as Nicholas told her family she needed to learn how to look after herself.
