The night stretched on as Ella continued speaking, providing me with detailed information about the hunters. I listened. I looked at her, assessing every word she said. I still didn’t trust her fully—not after everything—but I couldn’t deny that she was proving to be a valuable asset.
She answered my questions without hesitation,"The hunters operate in cells. They rarely communicate with other groups unless it’s absolutely necessary. That way, even if one cell is compromised, the others remain intact."
I leaned forward, absorbing every bit of information. "Who’s leading them now? Last I checked, the old man was still in charge."
