It’s a rainy morning. Miguel woke up early for this special day. He immediately went down to the kitchen because he knew that his mommy was already there.
“Good morning, Mommy.” Miguel greeted his mom and kissed her on the cheeks. “Happy birthday.” he added and handed his mother a paper bag with a box inside and a bouquet of flowers.
His mom smiled at him and pinch his cheeks.
“Thank you, my baby. That’s so sweet of you.” Rhea told her son and smelled the flowers Miguel gave him.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU!” Janus entered the kitchen while singing loudly. He also gave Rhea a bouquet of flowers while holding a cake on his other hand.
“Kuya Janus, please tell me this is not the exact cake we bought last time.” Miguel said while laughing. Janus rolled his eyes and messed up Miguel's hair.
“Of course not! I personally baked this last night when you’re already sleeping.” He proudly told Miguel and his mom. “Also, I already ate half of the cake we bought.”
“Hey, leave some for me! I want that flavor too!” Miguel answered. Janus just laughed at him.
“Okay, enough boys. Janus, why don’t you call your dad upstairs so we can eat dinner already. Miggy, help me prepare the plates.” Rhea told her sons. The two obey obediently.
While eating breakfast, the family talked about some important things. Rhea actually didn’t want to have a big celebration, just the four of them will do. Prior to this day, Felix, Miguel’s dad, already booked a reservation in their mom’s favorite restaurant, which will be a surprise for Miguel’s mom.
“Hon, don’t forget, we have a meeting with our client later, okay?” Felix told his wife. But the truth is, they want to surprise Rhea in the restaurant.
“Yes, I actually want to personally meet our biggest clients. Them investing with us, is already a big birthday gift for me, for us.” Rhea told them. Janus and Miguel secretly looked at each other with satisfaction as their plan worked.
“Okay boys, you know what to do later, okay?” Felix told his sons. The two agreed in chorus. They’re now in the living room while their mother is upstairs.
“Geez, I’m super excited!” Miguel told his brother. He hopes that everything will happen according to their plan. He then proceeded to his room to prepare all the things he would bring. Once everything was set, he sat on the bed and facetime Michael.
“Happy birthday to Tita Rhea. I hope I was there to greet her personally.” Michael told him. Miguel rolled his eyes.
“You and mom are close now, huh?” Miguel asked him.
“Yes, we’re getting there.” Michael smiled. Miguel stopped for a moment.
“What do you think will be her reaction if she found out about us?” Miguel told him in a sad tone. He’s really worried about her mom finding out.
“Babe, your mom is a very understanding person, and she also loves you. She will understand, I’m sure.” Michael told him. Miguel smiled at him and nodded.
“By the way, how’s your …” Michael asked. Miguel immediately remembered what happened and shouted at him.

“Miggy, I have to go. Don’t worry, it will not take long. I just need to go to Dave for an important matter.” Janus told his brother. Their parents already went to the restaurant to have their mother’s birthday dinner date with their dad.
“Sure, Kuya. Maybe I’ll just sleep in my room since I don’t have anything to do.” Miguel replied. Janus hugged him before driving his car. Miguel waved at him as watched his brother leave. He then locked their gate and went inside.
“Hmm.. he’s all alone now. A perfect opportunity for us.” a guy said while they’re inside the car which is parked not too far from Miguel’s house.
“So what’s the plan?” The other guy asked. They thought for a moment, then one of them laughed at the idea he just thought. He told it to his comrades and they all agreed.
On the other hand, Miguel went back to his room to sleep since he doesn’t have anything to do. He is facetiming Michael while lying on the bed.
“I hope mom will like the surprise dad prepared for her.” Miguel told Michael.
“I’m sure she will.” Michael replied. “Ohhh and by the way, I thought you and Kuya Janus will go with them?”
“No, it’s just mom and dad. Also, Kuya Janus went to Kuya Dave a while ago.” Miguel told him.
“Wait babe. So you mean you’re alone at home?” Michael became worried. He remembered the story Miguel told him that there’s a car with no license plate that was seen spying on their neighborhood.
“Yup, why?” Miguel answered. Before Michael was able to speak, their doorbell rang from the gate. Miguel find it weird since they are not expecting any visitors for the day.
“Wait babe, I’ll check who it was.” Miguel told him and left. He left his phone on the bed and Michael is worried and scared, he felt something was wrong. But it’s too late, Miguel already left the room.
“I wonder who it was.” Miguel told himself while walking down the stairs.
“Yes po?” Miguel asked them while standing on their front door. Luckily the front door is not that closed to the gate.
“Pizza delivery for Veneracion residence.” The guy outside said.
“Kuya, I think you delivered it to the wrong residence. We didn’t order pizza.” Miguel explained and it didn’t want to take the pizza.
“This is yours, come here. I’ll give it to you.”
