Chapter Eight : Axel

My dad had left for for the human world this morning since I had gotten into Luna Accademy, the best school for supernaturals. My new roomie, Lucien is friendly and all I have a feeling we are gomna be best friends. I was still unpacking when Lucien barged into the room, sweating and panting. Bro what's up? I asked. "Orientation is about to star bro" he said. Panicked, I dropped my staff and started running, Lucien following close behind me. Luckily, we made it on time to the orientation hall.I saw Lucien saving two seats for who knpws who but I brushed it off and focused on the the podium. Just then two girls took a seat beside us. I turned to look who they were and to my astonishment it was Lexi and another girl. We looked eyes for a moment and then Iooked away. I could feel heat building up on my cheeks. I was still lost in thought when another girl slipped her hands around my arms. "Axel", she called out. It was Brithney. I gave her a dirty look and yanked my hand aways. Knodging Lucien, I gestured for him to take my place. He moved and the other girl moved with him. I sat in her chair instead right next next to Lexi's. I took a glance at her then with a playful pull I caught her attention. " I was anout to say something when the principal walked up on stage and her head snapped back to attention as though I didn't exist. Mimicking her, I also turned towards the principal and listened to his annoucement but my eyes took sneaky glances towards her, not that I could help it.
