Chapter Nineteen
As the time passed, Amy grew larger. Our daughter may be a girl, but she was huge. We had returned to the doctor on Vega several times during Amy’ term. Amy and the child were both doing well. True to her word, Amy began to be more discerning as to which crates she would handle. By the time the last month rolled around she had restricted herself to only the smaller crates with light weight goods in them.
We found ourselves on a moon near her parent’s moon delivering a cargo of vegetables from Vega. Amy reached down to lift the crate, and her water broke. It was not supposed to happen for another week according to the doctor on Vega. Our choices had just been limited to one.
