Chapter Twenty
Our next stop was Persephene. We pulled in at the dock and dropped the cargo bay ramp. Juliette started grabbing the crates the same way Amy would. Someone on the dock said something about me having a new woman on my ship. Did I dump the short pudgy one? Juliette stood up and started to walk down the ramp. Juliette had a temper I remembered all too well. In Juliette’s mind, that person had just insulted Amy. I quickly put myself between Juliette and the mouth on the dock. I managed to slow Juliette down, but she had to stop herself. There was no way I was going to stop Juliette when she was angry enough to choke someone.
