Chapter Twenty-Four
We spent the night and most of the next day with Amy’s parents. They had gotten to see their gran-daughter. That was the key point for this visit. I went into the settlement to secure a cargo. We had been in dock for almost two days. I needed to get something going somewhere. There was nothing on this moon.
I asked Amy to walk with me. I did not want to discuss our financial business in front of her parents. After I explained where we were, she quickly assembled our belongings, thanked her parents for their hospitality, and made our goodbye’s. As we walked back to the ship we were discussing the possibility of catching a cargo on several of the other moons in the vicinity.
