From prey To Mate

Nightmares

When I woke up, I was sweating and it seemed like I was crying in my sleep, I went to find Derek. I was scared to be alone now after what happened last night. It really bothers me that I can’t remember my dream. I always remember them. As I went to leave out of the door I ran right into Derek. Well so much for me finding him right?

“Are you okay?” He asked “You're not hurt right?”

I laughed “Yes I’m fine. I was actually going to look for you.” I paused, remembering everything that happened, I asked “Is he-”

“Yes. I have him locked in the cells. He has something to do with your mother's death…” He went quiet

“Well…. Did you find anything out?” I asked hopeful

He rubbed his neck before speaking “Well… Your mom got with our old Alfa… Jax Light, and that's when you popped up and well… turns out your mom was gonna leave Michel for him because they were mates, you see, But Michel got jealous and out of rage… He killed your mother. Jax wanted him dead and to get you from him because you were the only thing left of your mother. He wanted to raise you as his own but everytime he got close enough… You would disappear on him. He died trying to find you. The sadness in his heart is what killed him. He spent his life looking for you. I can tell you this much Alice… or should I say Blossom… He loved you very much.”

I sat down to consume all the information that he has given me. My mother was a wolf.. She hooked up with the Alpha wolf, got pregnant with me, then left just to never come back. Something isn’t right. He isn’t telling me something. But what is it…

“Blossom… are you okay?” Derek was staring at me but I couldn’t find my words. Was my name really blossoming…? Suddenly I blacked out the last thing I heard was Derek shouting my name…

*Alice’s Dream*

“Daddy please stop!!” I cried frantically

“You stupid little b***h! You're the reason your mother left me!” He shouted

I was covered in bruises and I had a split lip from my father slapping me. It’s been like this ever since mother left. She said she would come back but it’s been a long time. She hasn’t come back since the last day she promised to come back and play dollies with me. My father hates me, says it’s my fault and only my fault. He’s so mean to me… I just want mommy to come back and take me away from here.

“You will never be anything but a mistake!!” He threw a lamp at me and it broke on my side

“Daddy please stop! I-i-i’m sorry..” I weeped

“You stupid b***h! I’ll show you what happens when you don’t listen!” He ran for me… that's when I woke up.

*End of Alice’s dream*

“NO!” I jumped out of bed and fell to the ground crying

“Blossom! Are you okay? What’s wrong, what happened?” He asked, I could hear the worry in his voice.

“I-i-i’m sorry.. I’m sorry.. Please don’t hurt me… I’m sorry I’ll listen better I promise…” My voice was shaky and I could barely talk at that point.

“Shhh …. “ He held me in his arms and whispered to me “I will never hurt you.. I promise…” He kisses me gently on the forehead.

“I…” I started but stopped, I was scared, So i didn’t speak.

“What baby? What's wrong? Talk to me…” He pleaded

“I had a nightmare…..” I started “My father was beating me because my mother had left him… She was gone for like weeks or something.. It was when the beatings were really bad tho… I thought I was going to die that night… It hurt so bad to lay down…” I started crying again because all the memories of when I was younger came flooding back. They were bad ones too…

“It’s okay… He can’t hurt you anymore.” He paused “He’s dead.”

I looked up at him, His face didn’t change , That’s when I knew he was telling the truth. I cried more. Not because I was sad but because my mother's killer was dead and I didn’t have to worry about being killed anymore. He was gone… I can never be hurt again!

“Thank you Derek….. For everything…” I curled up on his chest and fell asleep.

*Derek’s POV*

She looks so peaceful when she’s sleeping. I want her. I need her.

“She is already yours” My wolf said to me

“I know… but she hasn’t said it.. I can’t make her truly mine…” I said

“She is ours.. I know she is. Her wolf is so pure. She is the luna..” He said

I looked down at her, and smiled, I know she’s mine. I just have to show her she’s safe with me, that she doesn't have to worry about being hurt or killed for that matter…. I picked her up and moved her to the bed and laid her down and got in bed with her, She seemed so frail in my arms and so small… I can’t let her get hurt… I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. She shifted closer to me, Her sweet honey and rose sent filled my nose and made me want to mark her right then and there…. God she was so beautiful. I want to make her mine. I can’t help myself any longer. I lower myself down to where her face is level to mine. I brush my nose along her face and she moves her head to the side to where her neck was towards me. I run my fingers through her hair and move it out of her face and away from her neck. I took a deep breath, Her scent was arousing to me, God I can’t help myself. My Knines slip out with no effort, I lean towards her neck, and clamp down. With that she grabbed my hair and moaned deeply into my ear, I bit harder and pulled her closer, she wrapped her arms around my neck and tried to hold me closer. I let go and she loses her grip and falls back into a deep sleep. I did as well but before I did I made sure she was where I wanted her. Then everything went black.

“Derek… “ A voice said “Derek wake up”

I growled in protest “no go away… I don’t want to wake up…”

“DEREK!!” The voice screamed

I jumped up to find nobody. It was only me and Blossom. She was still asleep. My bite has healed, maybe one more day and it'll be gone.

“Derek are you up now?”

“How many times do I have to tell you not to link me while I’m sleeping?” I said annoyed

“I know, I know. But this is serious….” He said “And important.”

“Someone better be dead.” I said

“Well… more like someone is alive….” he linked quietly

I sat up alarmed “Who?” I linked to him

“Well… Lilyann…” He said

“WHAT?! Where is she?” I asked

“Well that's the thing… We don’t know. That psycho locked her up somewhere and he wont tell us. He says he’d rather die than tell us where she is at.” Makey said

“f**k….” I looked down at Blossom… f**k. I can't let her find out I haven’t killed him yet. Fuck.. what am I gonna do?

“Makey.” I linked him

“Yeah?”

“Kill him.” I said

“But… what about--”

I cut him off “KILL HIM OR I’LL KILL YOU!”

There was silence but then he answered “okay… He’s dead. What about Lily?”

“She’s dead. I know she is. Our old alfa confirmed that. Her scent is long gone Makey. I’m sorry but she’s gone.”

I didn’t get a response after that by then Blossom was waking up. She stretched and sat up rubbing her eyes, Which were beautiful, Her hair was a mess, and she still looked like she was sleeping. Cute. I thought. I leaned over and nuzzled her, she giggled, I love this girl. God, I love this girl. She looked up at me and almost pouted when she asked to take a hower. My wolf got excited when she said that and purred to the thought of seeing her in the shower. I shut him down fast tho. There is no way she would let me…

“Derek, are you just gonna stand there? Or help me.. My side and back still hurt.. “ She blushed

“Oh yeah uhm What do you need help with..?” I asked nervously

“Undressing…” She looked away from me, Blushing.

“Oh..” I blushed “Yeah I can help…”

We went to the bathroom and I made sure the water was nice and warm. I turned around and saw her sadly turn around for me to help her.

“I don’t want to hurt you so if I do… Don’t be afraid to kick me or something.” I laughed trying to get rid of the awkwardness.

She laughed and said “don’t worry… I don’t kick hard.”

I gently removed her shirt over her head, Her whole back was bruised.. Did I do that? I undid her bra and carefully removed it so I didn't hurt her. I gave her a towel so she could cover up. She used my shoulder to help her stand so she could take her pants off. Her legs were like honey… But damaged, Badly.

“Blos-” I started

“Don’t call me that… That's not my name.” She said

“Okay. Alice.. What happened to your body..? You're covered in bruises and cuts… What happened?” I questioned I kept my head down when I asked her

“My father….” She said “He would beat me all the time… It takes awhile for them to go away…”

She pulled my chin up to look at her “I don’t know why I’m so drawn to you… but I am.”

She made me stand up to look at her. I didn’t know why I wanted her so badly but I did, She dropped the towel and kissed me, fireworks exploded and I couldn’t help myself. I pulled her close and kissed her deep with passion. She pulled back and smiled. She got into the shower and started to wash up.

“Well?” she asked while poking her head out “I still need help to wash my back.” She laughed and pulled me in. It would have been fun if I wasn’t dressed. When she turned around she gasped and started to apologize but I stopped her with a kiss.

“There’s no need to say sorry.” I started to undress and help her wash up. My wolf wouldn’t shut up either.

“Claim her now” He purred

“I can’t just yet…” I said back trying to hold my urges but he was just making it harder

“I need her please” He panted “Her wolf is crying to get out. Claim her!”

I growled heavy. He was right. I need her. f**k this is so hard. I gently wash her back making sure not to hurt her. Days of dirt came off. Her skin was so beautiful, So creamy. I lean in and gently kiss her neck, working my way down her back until I was kneeling to her. She turned around and ran her fingers through my hair and nodded. At that point I got up and bit her neck again, this time a little harder, She moaned and held me close. Blood started to fall very little bits at a time. I pulled away and kissed her again. I can’t help myself. She smells so good and she is so beautiful. We left the shower running and made it to the bed. I ripped the sheets off and laid her down so I could view her. Yes the bruises were bad but I can see her beauty.

“Do you want me as your mate…?” I panted

“Yes... “ She panted

“Then bite me…” I showed her my neck

“I don’t have my Knines…” She pouted

I laughed “Oh I think you do... “ I showed her the mirror

“Oh my god.. Look at my eyes… wow I do have Knines… But how?”

“Well you are turned on.. When your blood starts rushing that's what happens a-”

I growled when she bit me. “Well that was a surprise..” I panted

She giggled and pulled the blankets over us. It got hot very quickly until there was a knock at my door

“Ugh.. who is it? And it better be important.” I said

“It's Macy's. I was coming by to check on the girl.” Macy said

Damn thats right I had the packs nurse come by in the morning to check on her.

“Give us five minutes” I said

“Okay.”

I got up and got dressed. I turned to Alice and her face was beaten red. That’s right she needs help.

“Here how about you wear one of my shirts and shorts so you aren’t all cramped up?”

“Okay… alfa….” She whispered then smiled.

*Alice’s POV*

He got dressed and went to leave but stopped and asked if I was okay by myself. I nodded and smiled.

“Don’t run off anywhere now… I can’t have you getting hurt.” He sighed

“I won’t. Just so you know I’m able to take care of myself. I don’t need a babysitter.”

"I know.. But I just don't want you to get hurt your mine… but the packs doctor is here to see you don't worry she's very good at what she does." He smiled then when he opened the door there was a woman about 5'6" with short blonde hair, she was skinny and very beautiful.

"Hello. I'm Macy, it's nice to meet you. I've heard quite a lot about you and I hope I get to learn more about you as well. I see you have some damage done to you…" she stopped and she was frozen

"I-i-is there something wrong…?" I asked

"Oh! No no no. You haven't done anything darling. It's just… I haven't seen marks like this in a long time…. This is from constant abuse… sweetheart.. What happened? Why aren't you healing like you should?" She questioned

I hesitated at first and looked up at Derek for an answer. He just nodded so I began to speak slowly but surely.

"Well…. Ever since my….." I couldn't, I just started to weep… I missed my mother so much I wish she never left. I wish she could have come back for me… I hate my father!! Or so called father anyways. Derek held me while I wept and soon I was fast asleep.

*Derek's POV*

I hated seeing her cry. I told Macy to leave and to bring something back for her wounds but that's it. I don't want her to leave the room. She'll get hurt and I can't have that happen… she's already been through so much. I looked down at my little mate… she is so beautiful… I want her forever.

"Derek?" A knock at the door it was Macy I could tell by her voice.

"What is it? And try to keep it down… she's still asleep."

"Oh I'm sorry.. Well here, there are some ointments and some headache pain relievers. It's not much but it should help her.”

“Okay, Thank you Macy. That will be all. Leave us at once and no one is to disturb me until i say so. Understood?”

Macy nodded quickly and left the room. I can’t stand seeing her like this. I need to get her something to make her feel better, something to make her feel safe, in a way. If Lilith is still alive then we need to find her but we have no leads. f**k… your gonna make this hard for me huh, Flower? I smirk to myself in awe because I can't believe how much has happened nowadays. I really wish she would just trust me fully. I know she's still scared of me but damn… I wish she wouldn’t be…

It wasn’t long before Derek fell asleep ,too.

When I woke up I didn't find Alice by my side. I thought it was a horrible dream.. But it wasn’t that I got up to look for her before I heard a loud blood curdling scream come from downstairs. I jumped down them in a second.

“ALICE!!!” I shouted

*5 hours earlier*

“I’m gonna find you and when I do you're in for a world of hell, little girl….”

I have to run faster… That's all there is to do. I should have never left his side. Why didn’t I listen to my wolf? God im so stupid. I have to run now there is no time to think. Alice ran for about an hour. She couldn’t tell how long it had been since she saw that…. Thing. It was after her and she didn’t know why all she knew is that she needs to get away from it.

“f**k… what to do? What to do!?” Alcie painted

“Ahhh…. There you are… Little girl.” A husky voice whispered

“WHAT!!?? Who’s there? Show yourself, p***y!” Alice snapped

“Now now little girl, don’t be so coy. You know who I am. Just sniff the air….” He replied

Alice lifts her nose to the air. Just slightly, and niffs.

“ALL I SMELL IS WET WOOD AND MINT----” Alice paused with all of her hair standing on edge. She turns slowly to the bushes right beside her and she freezes.

“Well, well….” A man emerges from the bushes “I see you found me, Little girl.” The man said

“”What do you want with me?” Alice asks shakingly

“Isn’t it obvious??” He ask *Sigh* “You. You're what I want. You should know this already…” He looks up at Alice with sad eyes. Alice feels like she's seen them before but she's still not sure if she should trust him, I mean he was chasing her through the woods but that's besides the point.

She starts to relax and gather her senses before saying anything to him yet. Before she could say anything or even think for that matter. She faints.

“Alice!!” … der--derek… help…

When Alice woke up she didn’t know where she was, so she screamed as loud as she could. Next thing she knew, The man was standing in front of her. She couldn’t see him but she knew that tiny smell. She looked directly in his direction.

“Well look who's up.” He says

“What do you want from me….? Where's Derek at!?” She snapped at him

“What do you mean?”

“Don’t play dumb with me, Mutt.” She growled a little saying that “You better not hurt him!!”

“Look, Little girl, I don’t know who you're talking about or what you're talking about.” He sneered

“HE CALLED FOR ME I’M NOT STUPID!!!” Alice screamed

There was a silence. He put his head down and scratched it, as if he was thinking. Alice was looking around for a way out. She needed to get out of here at all costs.

“Ahhhhh..” He walks up to Alice and kneels down in front of her “You must have linked to whoever this…. Derek…. Is… That means that he heard you somehow… but how?”

“Linked? What are you talking about!? I can't even shift.” Alice scoffed “What makes you think I can link him?”

“Well… For one I was chasing you through the woods..” He chuckles a little bit “and two……”

“What?” Alice says bluntly “What's the second one?”

“Well be for we get into that.. My names is Stiles Stone.” He holds out his hand with a shitty grin “What's yours, little girl?”

“Okay first, I’m not a little girl I’m almost 21, And secondly it's Alice.” She says

“Ooooo, 21 such a big number,” Stiles says mockingly “I think I’ll call you Little girl. It suits you better anyways…” He pulls a shitty grin “and YOU, miss, are my mate.”

Alice freezes up. “Yeah you heard me right, Little girl, Your mine and no one elses.”

“No… That can’t be right…” Alice starts to mumble to herself.

*Stiles POV*

Well I finally found her. Yes! She’s mine. I don’t care if she was marked. She's meant to be with me. I know it.

“Alice…” She looked up at me. It took me a moment to realize that she was crying, “No no no! What's wrong, little girl? Please don’t cry. You have such a pretty face.” I reached out and pulled her close to me, she tried to fight it but ended up giving in and just silently cried in my arms. I wanted to say something but my mouth couldn’t make the words come out. So I just held her in my arms until she fell asleep. I, Then, carried her to my bed and laid her down. She moves a little when I get in next to her. I wish you would trust me, Little girl. Why do you always have to be so stubborn? She's so beautiful when she's sleeping.

Stiles moves her hair out of her face, her nose and eyes are still swollen from crying, and kisses her forehead. Alice moved closer to Stiles and went into a deep sleep. Stiles, On the other hand, was red from embarrassment.

“Oh if only you would just remember me…” Stiles leans closer to Alice “Remember me, Little girl…” He whispers into her ear. Alice turns her head where her neck is exposed, Stiles couldn’t help it by then. He wanted her and only her. He leans down and bites her, She let out a small gasp but went right back to sleep, She healed up almost instantly.

*sigh* “I’ve gotten myself in trouble…. Haven’t I?”

“Yes. Yes you have.” His wolf growled

“But you wanted her too! So it's not all my fault…”

“Maybe not. But she was already marked, you i***t!” His wolf barked

“I don’t care… I’ve spent too many years looking for her to let her be taken away from me again…”

“What abo-”

“He won't find us! I covered up our smell…. He can’t find us. I know it.”

*Derek's POV*

“ALICE!!!” Derek screamed as he jumped down the stairs. When he got down there he saw Macy and Makey, and they looked confused. That's when he really started to panic.

“Where is she!!??” Derek asked

“What do you mean..?” Macy asked

“She's not with you?” Makey questioned

“NO!!” Derek screamed

“Okay. Okay don’t panic.” Macy says “When did you see her last?”

“We were sleeping… And when i woke up she was gone… Then I heard screaming… So i ran downstairs and now…….” Derek starts to break down crying and then it turns into rage, He then grabs up Mackey by his throat, “What did you do to her!”

“I- Didn’t--- Do-- any---” Mackey starts to lose consciousness

“DEREK STOP!!! YOUR GOING TO KILL HIM!!!” Macy cries out

Derek lets go and watches Mackey gasp for air and back away into a corner. Then turns to Macy. His eyes are black, It's not Derek anymore, It's his wolf. He smirks a little bit before talking.

“Well.. I suppose you know where my mate is then?”

“Well-- I don’t know exactly where she's at… You never know she might just be outside somewhere. I mean i can go an-”

“Shut up!” Derek snaps “Do you think I’m stupid or something?”

“N-n-no Alfa…” Macy wines

“I want every wolf here looking for my mate.” Derek says

*silence*

“DID I f*****g STUDDER!?” He screams. Macy and Mackey then hurry out of the door, leaving Derek alone in his thoughts. He lets out a broken howl. His heart was aching in pain. He has no idea where Alice could be.
