Andrew McKaby the young Master of the McKaby Corporation was standing angrily at the altar. He kept checking the time on his extremely expensive rolex and frowned. He heard the family members murmuring.- Did she set him up?- How dare she do something like that?- I know she is the Second Heiress of the WW corporations, but this is such an insolence! - with their gossiping and wondering Andrew's impatience grew. He turned to his younger brother and witness and whispered.-'If that woman won't appear in a minute, the wedding is officially done!!!' - Simon swallowed hardly and looked into the eyes of his brother. Andrew was genuinely pissed off and their families looked worried. Mr and Mrs Walton tried to persuade Mr and Mrs McKaby to wait a little longer. Andrew heard them say softly.- Our little girl is a bit reckless, but this is how youngsters are! - Mr Walton said.- She will be here in any minute now! - Mrs Walton added. Andrew rolled his eyes, he heard this a few times already in the past 30 minutes. He looked at his watch again and grinned. At the moment he was ready to end this circus, he heard a loud motorcycle sound. The sound stopped and the doors of the church swung open. A young, gorgeous woman stormed in barefoot with her heels in her hands. She rushed next to him, set her heels down and grinned at Andrew.- Sorry, there was a traffic jam.- she extended her hand and said.- My name is Katrina Walton, your bride.

Bride on a Bike
Katrina Half an hour before the wedding... I was looking down from the highway to the city lazily stretching into the never ending sunset. I should be there already... With a big sigh I put my helmet back on, checked if my heels were in the bag attached to my loyal little pony and put the ignition on the engine. A smile spread on my face when I heard the sound of the engine. I purchased my bike after years of hard work and help from my family. It was the apple of my eye, a nice, brand new, dark grey Triumph Tiger 1200. I rolled down the highway and speed up as much as the traffic limit allowed. In my helmet Meredith Brook's song called I'm a b***h. The song gave the rhythm to my heart. I sang the lyrics along and the thought of running away took a turn in my mind. I have played with this thought for over a month already, but I had no other choice. After my parents' accident, my aunt and uncle adopted me, they are still legally my guardians for another year. I grunt my teeth at the thought of the last decade spent in that prison they called home. For the grand audience, we were the perfect family. My aunt with her charity balls and kind heart for adopting her dead sister's problematic child. My uncle with his million dollar worth electrotechnology company, and my cousin, their perfect, intelligent son, the Heir of the Walton Company. My stomach hurt every time I think of his incompetence! The Walton company was my father's in the beginning, but my uncle slowly bought all the shares, except those that were under my name. They spent almost all of the inheritance my parents left for me and I was left with nothing. Finally the day arrived when they decided to pull the last skin off of me and they agreed with the McKabys to get me married with their older son. I almost couldn't hold back my laughter when I heard my aunt talking about me on the phone. - Oh our little daughter is so shy and delicate! A real fine gem among these wild kids. She is also pure and young, not to mention how beautiful she is. A spitting image of Snow White! I'm sure she would make a perfect match for Andrew! - I've never seen my soon to be husband but they agreed since they wanted to get rid of the rumors about their older son. I rode to the church listening to a few of my favorite songs and daydreaming of the bigger picture. I arrived fashionably late to my own wedding. The doors of the church were already closed. - Oh s**t! - I exclaimed and put the helmet on my bike. I quickly took my boots off and grabbed the champagne colored high-heels from the bag. Although my aunt prepared a dress for me, I chose a white, elegant jumpsuit, with laced upper part, laced long, sleeves, and V cut back. I let my long, wavy, black hair out of the ponytail I wore it before, and stormed inside. I ran to the altar barefooted and extended my hand to my future husband. - Sorry, there was a traffic jam.- he looked into my eyes and the first thing I noticed was how, incredibly usual his appearance was. - My name is Katrina Walton, your bride - I introduced myself and waited for his response, but he didn't shake my hand. I shrugged and put the shoes down, stepping into them. The astonished priest cleared his throat and started the ceremony. While he spoke about the importance of marriage and love between the spouses I kept stealing glances at Andrew. He had short brown hair, brown eyes, a nice jawline and his freshly shaved face showed that he usually had beard. The priest finished and we made our turn as well. - Now I announce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride! - I heard a few polite claps from the gathered family members but even a blind eye could tell, that there was no love, not even any kind of relationship between me and Andrew. I waited for the kiss to get over with it, he kissed my cheek and whispered. - Welcome to Hell Katrina. - a smile spread on my face. This marriage might won't be as boring as I originally thought. I threw my arms around Andrew's neck and with my best fake smile I answered in a low voice. - Challenge accepted! - I walked down the stairs to meet my aunt and uncle who started lecturing me of how I looked and my late appearance. - How dare you humiliate our family like this?! - We should teach you a lesson Katrina Walton!!! - that's it. My victorious moment arrived, the only reason I agreed with this whole facade! - Mrs McKaby for you. Please don't forget your status Mrs Walton and whose big day is this. - my aunt's eyes turned red with anger but she couldn't do anything. I was out of her league now! My cousin scoffed and looked at Andrew who were silently watching the scene. - Congratulations Mr McKaby! Our lovely Katrina is all yours from today. - he walked closer to Andrew and said something to him which caused Andrew's glance becoming even colder while he kept staring at me. My hands clenched in fists and I smiled. " Don't worry Xavier. What comes around, goes around."
