High School

Gliding through the clouds, the thoughts of the soon to be events at school are gonna be tough.

    I woke up from the brightness of the sun shining like a light alarm through the white curtains. I look around the guest bedroom wondering how I got here. "I thought I was in the living room." I got up out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Once inside there were a pair of light blue jeans and a grey T-Shirt with the words, "The strength of the wolf is the pack." with a wolf next to it. I grabbed a bottle of vanilla body wash out of the cabinet, got in the shower and washed up.

Walking out of the bathroom I saw a note on the side table near the bed. It read 

    "You have school today, come downstairs when your done 

    getting ready. I will already be at the school waiting for you.

        -Signed  Elijah"

    I set the note down on the table and headed down the stairs and into the garage. Getting a few looks from oncoming pack members made me feel uneasy. I walked into the living room, making sure my marks weren't showing. "Alex why aren't you at school yet!" The voice of my alpha rang through the house frightening my senses causing me to jump a little. Looking at the time, my nerves seemed to get a hold of me. 'I'm late!! '  I run, grab my shoes and head off to school. 'What a great first impression' Dawn belted with a fit of laughter. 

    As I was sliding my shoes on near the school gate I feel my mate's irritation. Going over to where the commotion is I see my mate standing against his car with three girls standing uncomfortably close to him. He closes his eyes and a feel of pressure on my brain telling me he's trying to tell/ask me something. Opening the link I couldn't help but feel worried 'Hey love, whats u-' I didn't get to finish before he interrupted  'Are you almost here, there's a group of girls making me uncomfortable'. Laughing aloud got me a look from him that is almost  unforgettable. 'Come to me they will leave you be, promise' I give him a reassuring look. I watched as he pushed passed the girls and practically ran to me, with a warm hug and a soft whisper we headed into the school ignoring the whines from the she-wolves we just so easily left behind.

    Elijah's telling me that part of his pack's teenagers went here along with him, so if I got any bows from random wolves, not to be disturbed by it. We headed to the office to get me my class scheduled. We walked to my first period and he kissed me goodbye. I walked in and instantly got a good whiff of human stench. 'whoa they stink' Dawn said before blocking me out s that she didn't have to smell it. "Introduce yourself miss white" the teacher said, while I silently thanked her for distracting me from the smell. "I'm Alexis White but call me Alex, i'm sixteen and I just transferred here from up north" the ending coming out as more a question more then a statement. Come on Alex keep it together, just go sit down  and relax. I walked over to a empty spot and sat down. 

Around lunch I was super tired. Exhaustion is all I felt as I walked into the cafeteria, after a bit of wondering I found a booth near the window to sit at. Laying down my head I started wondering why it was so quiet all of a sudden. A red headed girl ran up to me and started yelling some nonsense at me about this being the "popular kids' spot" and that I was being disrespectful to them. Anger filled my head as I stood and looked down at her, she was standing like she just won a war with the brush she'd been trying to get out since yesterday. out of nowhere a man and i'm guessing his friends came over, the boy drove her away from me while his friends stayed behind and watched. 

    A golden brown haired girl with freckles walked up to me in a hurry, "I'm so sorry Luna!" she whispered to me with a little bit of fear in her voice. "Oh its alright, and you can call me Alex you all can" I said referring too her friends behind her. Looking over to the kids that were yelling at me a bit ago, are still arguing with one of my future pack members. I sit back and watch until, "I sure as hell know you did not just slap him" Dawn growled, she takes control then walks over to the group of humans. "Enough!" her voice boomed through the cafeteria, she slaps the girl with full force throwing her back and against the wall. "Do not, I repeat, Do. Not! Hurt my family" she snapped at them with power dripping from her tongue.
