I leaned forward in the director’s chair and hung up the phone, mystified by Sadie’s conversation.
I shook my head. “Another year? Really?”
“Hey sweetie!” Katie called through the door, just before she waddled in, her hand on her lower back. “How’s your day been?”
“You shouldn’t be up and walking around.” I scowled at my mate, before rushing around Jack’s huge desk and grabbing for her hands.
She lowered herself into the chair and rubbed her huge belly. “I was due a few days ago, Shadow. I want this baby out of me. Now.”
I wanted to tease her and tell her we needed to give her more orgasms to get the labor going, but I’d been working double time on that for the past month, and daily s****l sessions were not helping.
