Nathaniel pulled the door of the passenger seat open for me. I thanked him and got in the car. Nathaniel rushed to the other side of the car and slid into the driving seat. I am hit by Nathaniel's scent, woodsy and smokey. His car smells like him. I take a deep breath to get the scent in my system.
''You look pretty.'' he compliments as soon as he got in.
''Thanks.'' at his compliment. I ducked my face and stared at my hands. Not having the courage to look at his intense eyes this close. After a moment of silence, Nathaniel fake cleared his throat.
''So what do you want to eat?'' he asked in his deep velvety voice.
''How about some cheeseburgers?'' I said, my voice a little breathy.
''Cheeseburgers I like that,'' he said, amusement dancing in his eyes.
