Locked in Disney World

Chapter 9 °o°

“Hmm, I think I see an exit.” I say happily whilst running towards it.

Also having Tara right on my tail.

“Please be unlocked!!” Tara shouts from behind me.

 Once we walked up to it, I tried to pull the employee exit open, but it would not budge at all.

“Dammit, it’s locked.” I say pissed off.

“Oh, come on, I don’t want to be locked in here.” Tara whines whilst pacing back and forth.

 I placed the palm of my right hand on top of my forehead.

“We were in the bathroom, how did everyone just flat out and leave? And doesn’t the employees check to see if it’s empty after everyone has left?!” Tara asks exasperated.

“Tara, that doesn’t matter anymore, what matters now is what the f**k do we do now? Do we try all the employee exits? And hope and pray that one of them is unlocked?” I asked her whilst picking up sorcerer Mickey from the ground.

Tara looks lost in thought for a moment.

 “I mean, I guess we should try that, it’ll kill some time.” Tara explains as a matter of fact.

I took my hair out of my ponytail and let it be free up to my elbows.

I’m Colombian, and both of my parents are, so my mom has always been obsessed with my hair. And hers as well.

“Won’t you be hot with your hair down?” Tara asks me, whilst taking out her map.

“I took it out of my ponytail, because it was hot.” I tell her.

“Okay then, so we should try Adventureland, since it’s the closest one by us.” Tara explains.

I nodded my head in agreement.

“Okay let’s go.” I tell her.

 We made it to Adventureland, and once we stopped at some employee exit there, we decided to catch our breaths.

I hope to lose so many pounds after all this, with all this walking.

 “Okay, so what’s the time?” I ask Tara.

Since she already has her phone out, looking for some sort of signal.

“Um, 12:25 am.” She tells me whilst holding her phone up.

I sigh.

“Okay so we know the park opens at 6 am today, so I’m pretty damn sure that employees will start coming in at about 5 am, am I right?” I ask Tara.

“Well most likely yeah, but do you really want to wait around for the Disney employees to come?” She asks me.

I look at her and then nodded my head.

“I mean I guess, there’s one key that opens the whole f*****g park, so maybe they can let us out.” I tell her with a yawn.

Gosh I want to go to bed.

 To be honest here, if we can’t leave till 5 am or 6 am, then I’ll just sleep on that grass area in front of Cinderella’s castle.

It looks soft enough, just saying.

 “Okay, let’s try out this exit.” Tara says whilst walking up to it.

It’s going to be locked.

I’m betting big money on it.

 “It’s f*****g locked.” She says with disappointment.

“No kidding, come on Tara, let’s just go back to Cinderella’s castle, I’m too damn tired.” I tell her while feeling my sweat rub on Mickey.

Sorry sorcerer Mickey Mouse, it’s hot as hell here.

 “Yeah okay.” She says with defeat.

“I want to get out of here Lauren, I know I’ve been here so much, but I’m so tired of this place.” She says with a frown.

 I put Sorcerer Mickey down, and then make my way over to her and give Tara a big old hug.

“I know Tara, I’m tired of this place too. But we need to stick together on this, which is why we should let loose, I’m sure we can find somewhere to get food and there are water fountains around here as well.” I tell her as a matter of fact whilst pulling away from her.

 She then wipes her eyes with her shirt then nodded her head.

“Yeah okay.” She sniffles.

Tara lays her blanket down again and I sit down on it, whilst she sits right next to me.

 “Okay, so I actually have a bottle of vodka in my tote bag, I was going to save it for when we go back to our hotel room, but I guess we need it now.” Tara chuckles softly whilst grabbing the bottle out of her tote bag.

“There we go.” I say laughing softly.

She then sat down next to me and opened it up.

I was the first to drink out of it then I handed it to her, and she drank some of it.

“So, did you find a roommate to live with?” I randomly asked her, trying to get our minds off the fact that we are locked inside Disney World.

 “Um yes, some guy named Collin. He’s looking for a roommate and will charge $710 a month, also, he has a spare bedroom in his apartment.” She tells me.

“Oh, that’s good, hopefully you two don’t sleep together.” I tell her whilst raising my left eyebrow at her.

“Goodness no, I’m not his type anyways.” She laughs.

Making me laugh as well.

 “Wait, will we get in trouble with having alcohol in the park?” I ask her whilst I am holding the said bottle of alcohol.

This made Tara give a “what the f**k” look.

“No, we aren’t, if anyone randomly comes up to us, they will just kick us out, and I mean what have we been trying to do.” She shrugs like it’s not a big freaking deal.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” I say then take a drink from the bottle.

At least we both aren’t lightweights.
