Locked in Disney World

Chapter 7 °o°

It is currently, 6:20 pm and thank the Lord that I packed two portable batteries, because both of our phones were at 24% and 6%.

Mine was the 24%, I have a weird thing going, where I still would charge my phone when it has some battery life leftover.

“So, we should go to Adventureland, because I want to try out that Pirate ride, looks like fun.” Tara says while pointing at it on the map.

We currently are chilling in the Emporium store, on Main Street U.S.A.

We decided to buy some things whilst we were here.

I got a Cheshire cat plush for myself, a Sorcerer Mickey Mouse plush for Brandon, and a Dumbo Latte mug for my mom, also an aqua color Walt Disney World spirit jersey for my mom as well.

I got me and Brandon some tops at Disney Springs yesterday so I’m good on getting us some clothing.

And Tara got a Nala plush from the Lion King, a Dumbo plush, and a Simba plush. She claims it's because she never really had stuffed animals whilst she was growing up. Which is sadly true, and she got her mom a sweater and a necklace and a bracelet for her mom.

We put our stuff in our bags, but I decided to carry Brandon’s sorcerer Mickey because it could not fit into my backpack, thanks to my Cheshire cat plush.

“Yeah okay.” I say.

We then leave the store and walk through Main Street, and then we make our way to the Pirate ride, thanks to fast pass

It is currently 6:45 pm, and we just got off the Haunted Mansion ride.

“What time is the fireworks show?” I ask Tara whilst hugging Sorcerer Mickey close to my chest.

His back to my chest, good gosh, he’s so soft.

 “Um 9:15.” Tara says.

“Do you want to find a good spot to sit?” I ask her.

She nods, then we started to walk fast.

“It can get packed super-fast.” She tells me as a matter of fact.

 “Oh, I see, well we need to find a good spot.” I explained while we currently are rushing out of Liberty Square.

We then made it in that meadow or grass area in front of Cinderella’s castle, and we took our seats.

But not before Tara took out a small blanket, room for the two of us and laid it down on the grass.

“I’ll go get our food, don’t move.” I tell her whilst remain standing, and her sitting down.

“Okay and here, my mom just gave me $20 for food on Cash app.” Tara says handing me her debit card.

I took it from her then left.

We did a mini toast with our water bottles, and then started to watch the firework show, we both saw that our phones are charged 100% so we turned off the chargers, and then started to record the show on snapchat, then I move my video from the fireworks to Tara, making her smile and wave to my phone.

 I then laugh and get my focus back onto the show.

This right here, is amazing.

I decide to put my phone faced down next to me, and just get overwhelmed by this great show.

 I couldn’t afford to come here whilst I was growing up.

Well my mom couldn’t afford it, she worked so much. And my dad died when I was only ten years old, so she was so stressed out, and so tired all the time, she even worked two full-time jobs to get to where she is today.

I started to get a little teary eyed, and I felt an arm wrapped around me, and I look to see it’s my best friend Tara, giving me a small smile.

“Hey, those better be happy tears, also you and Brandon will live around here, you can come here whenever you want to.” She tells me while rubbing my right arm and her arm over my back.

I wipe my eyes.

“Yeah I know, thank you.” I tell her whilst smiling at her.

She removes her arm and then nodded her head.

“Of course.” She says then turns her head to watch the show.

But not before giving me a quick wink.

Making me smile and shake my head.

This was a good day at Magic Kingdom.

And I cannot wait to tell Brandon all about it when I come back home.

We were all packed and going down Main Street, but I have an uncomfortable weird feeling.

Well urge more like it.

 “Oh my gosh, I really need to go to the bathroom.” Tara whines.

“Me too, is there a bathroom close by?” I ask her as we are kind of near the entrance.

“Yeah over here on our right.” She says whilst grabbing my arm, since I’m hugging sorcerer Mickey close to me.

“Thank the stars, I really need to go.” I say excitedly.

An employee stopped us before we could enter the bathroom.

“We are about to close.” She says with a hint of annoyance in her tone.

I would not blame her.

“We’ll be fast, I promise.” Tara says.

She looks at the both of us and nodded her head.

“Okay but be fast.” Was all she said, and then left.

There was no one in there, thank the Lord.

We then went in the ladies’ room and we went to the stalls.

I mean, nothing bad will happen to us in the damn bathroom, since there is no one else with us in here.

“Wow, this is relieving.” I hear Tara say.

“Amen to that.” I chuckled.
