Chapter 13 °o°

I start doing cartwheels and backflips, in the street around Cinderella’s castle, you know where they do the parades, I guess it’s a part of main street. “Well look at you miss ballerina.” I hear Tara ask with a laugh. “Brandon is a lucky guy let me tell you.” Tara adds. Making me scoff. And stop what I was doing and walk up to a grinning Tara. “Nah.” I say. I feel like she said it to me earlier. Just then we heard thunder. Dammit Florida.  With its stupid bipolar weather.  “Ah, let’s hide inside the castle!” Tara yells once it started to sprinkle a little harder. “Yeah, let’s go.” I agreed whilst trying to cover up Sorcerer Mickey. I don’t want him to get soaked. We then booked it and got inside Cinderella’s castle. We both caught our breaths and then sat down.  “Got to love Florida.” Tara says sarcastically with a sigh. “Yeah, it’s great.” I say whilst shaking my head. I frown when I noticed how dirty Brandon’s sorcerer Mickey plush got. “Do you think they can give me a new one?” I ask Tara. She looks at what I’m talking about. “Yeah, maybe, if you ask them. Also, show them your receipt.” Tara explains as a matter of fact. I just nodded my head. “Okay, so should we just relax here while it’s pouring out there?”  I ask her whilst cracking my back. Ugh, yes, b***h. That felt so good.  “Yeah, also to be honest here, this is making me sleepy.” Tara laughs whilst putting her knees close to her chest. “Well it is a soothing sound.” I agreed. Just listening to the sound of rain hitting the ground hard, whilst listening to some sounds of thunder. “That it is.” Tara sighs now hugging her knees.    ****……….**** I sighed whilst pacing around the park’s entrance, whilst Tara just is speaking over her cellphone. Apparently, it’s her dad with some sort of news. “Are you sure dad?” She asks him whilst scratching her head. Then puts him on speaker, and she then looks at me and puts her index finger over lips indicating me not to speak. That’s right, he hates being put on speaker phone. “I am sure Tara, since this has been brought to the attention of the press, Disney needs to have a word with you two ladies once you guys get out, also, you two will not be let out of the park, until about 5:30 am. Or until at least a Disney employee finds you guys, so I suggest you do not move around all over the damn place so they can find you easily.” Tara’s dad explains all of this strictly. Making Tara roll her eyes. “Dad, we haven’t travelled around the whole damn place in f*****g hours, now is mom with you or not?” Tara snaps at him. Making him take a long pause. “No, she is on her way with Lauren’s mom, and Lauren’s boyfriend is here at the station with me.” Tara’s dad explains. “Good that’s all I’m worried about.” Tara says. Then Tara’s dad takes another long pause. “Aren’t you going to ask about Victoria?” He asks Tara in bewilderment. “I don’t really care much about her to wonder that.” Tara lays it out to him. Well damn girl.  Just lay it all out there. “Well Tara, she feels bad that you two got locked inside.” Tara’s father says with an exasperated sigh. “I’m sure she does.” Tara says annoyed. “Tara look, I will always love your mom, we were good friends too at one point in our lives, but sometimes people can fall out of love, and that’s what happened here, we just didn’t have a spark anymore.” Tara’s dad says. Tara was just silent. So, then her dad continues. “I met Victoria through a coworker, and we went on a few dates, then I felt a spark again. I know you told your mom about our engagement, and she was happy for me, just like I would be happy for her if she found someone.” He explains whilst clearing his throat. “Yeah but she seems off.” Tara says. “Well maybe you two will eventually get a long.” He says. “Hm, we’ll see.” Tara says then hangs up.  We both then stay quiet for a moment. “That was intense.” I say softly. “Yeah it was, just Victoria is always so rude to me, I’m not sure I want to get along with her.” Tara says with a frown. “If only your dad can see how she treats you.” I tell her. “If only.” She agrees. We then both stay quiet some more.  I just I hope that all this negative energy with Tara and her dad, and soon to be stepmother will be gone soon. Because Tara has a good future ahead of her, and all of this, won’t help her. “Want to start dancing again?” I ask her. I know dancing helps us both out. Plus, it stopped raining. “Yes, I would love to.” She says whilst flashing me a smile. I chuckled and then held out my hand. Which she gladly took. And then we both started to dance our f*****g hearts out. “We’re going to get home soon girl.” I tell her, whilst we both are doing splits. “I know, I can’t wait.” She says smiling. We’re going to get out of this damn park.
