2112, January 28th, The Beginning

Acheron that’s his name, Serenity had thought to herself has he left her alone with Zander. “You alright?” Zanders gruff but soft voice asked her as he rubbed her arm gently. She nodded slowly before opening her mouth to speak. “Yes but I don’t understand… shouldn’t he look at me with disgust and think im a monster.?” Her voice full of confusion as her body finally began to relax as she leaned against Zander. “None of these people have a reason to be scared of you or to think that. You haven’t down anything wrong to any of them.” He stated as he brushed her hair out of her face. “I mean they watched me slaughter those men..” “Those men have done worse crimes then you have the only crime you’ve committed is killing them. They’ve r***d and killed thousands of innocent people.” Zander responded to her as he looked at the room as it only seemed to be this full of life when she was in here. She sat quietly for a few minutes and closed her eyes before she started to hum softly with her eyes closed. “why don’t you just sing no need to just hum.” Zander said to reassure her. She nodded before she opened her mouth. "Sing a song, a cure for sorrow…” her sweet, soothing, mature voice echoed throughout the greenhouse. “ The meaning hidden deep within, echoes without cease… Belief in the dreams that I have yet to see, the sky shows life ahead and a light on me” The flowers seemed to open and bloom as Zander watched the plants come to life. As Serenity laid there with her eyes closed singing. “Offering, a hopeful appeal… For all error, or fault, or wrong, learn from all you do… With this song, the ties that bind will mend.” The flowers seemed to sway in tune with the rhythm of the song. “The dream repeated on and on and trapped, you now finished…. Eternal Journey, draws closer to an end… Knowing everyone will seek the same truth” He closed his eyes and leaned his head on hers as a soft smile laid on his lips as he hummed softly along with her. “The meaning hidden deeply comes to you… Along the way, the world became a home… Through the strain, I share this aria…. Elated, my voice carries on… Enveloping all even against all the odds.” The cherry blossoms on the tree beside them began to slowly fall around them as she began to near the song’s ending. were Both sitting there with their eyes closed and soft smiles on their faces. “Now on my way, the world out there to see… Through the strain, I share this aria… Grief aside and armed with wisdom… Call out the sunrise as life continues on….” And just like that, the peaceful melody was done.

Acheron returned to the classroom after dropping off his tray and finding his seat in the back of the room waving to Michael. “Hey man, where did you disappear at during lunch?” Michael asked. “I went to the Greenhouse, and I had lunch with Serenity.” He responded back as he pulled out his books and began getting himself ready for class. “Serenity?...” Michael asked looking at confused. “Oh the girl.. That’s her name Serenity.” He said. “Oh? And how was that?” Michael asked looking at his friend curiously. “Shes… quiet.. Timid.. Almost seems practically afraid of me or well us in general. Plus she was extremely weak. Van der didn’t explain much just I got the feeling she had a night experience that none of us know about.” He said as the teacher came in. “Zander must’ve been that other guard that came in that you talked to during breakfast right?” Michael asked to confirm his thinking. “yes he’s the one who’s mainly in charge of her.” “Alright class settle down we will start with the next lesson today.” Mr. Johnson said interrupting Michaels and Acherons conversation.

Soon classes ended just about five minutes after the cafeteria had opened for supper. Acheron threw all of his books and notebooks into his bag and took it to his room throwing it on his bed before making his way to the cafeteria. Acheron came into the cafeteria seeing Zander already heading his way to the door with a lunch tray. “oh Hey! Let me grab mine and ill walk with you” he sad in a hurry before getting through the line with food and joining Zander who had waited outside the cafeteria food for him. “Thank you for waiting.” Acheron said. “Its not a problem at all.” Zander said back as he began to walk towards the greenhouse. “thats for Serenity right?” Acheron asked him. “Yes she’s feeling a lot stronger then what she did this morning and afternoon.” He stated without looking at Acheron. “Ah well if she’s fine with it, ill continue to eat with her, she’s just a woman after all she needs to have someone to talk to.” Acheron said as he kept walking but Zander stopped in his tracks. Acheron Noticed and stopped looking back at Zander. “she’s not just a woman, don’t speak of her like she’s normal because she’s not. If you can’t admit her monster, demonic, inhumane characteristics, then you are just in denial of who she is. She’s still humane, but she will never be normal.” Van der stated roughly as he began to walk past Acheron. “if you can’t accept who and what she is, then don’t keep trying to push into her life.” He continued and then opened the greenhouse door entering it as Acheron stood outside the door.
