From Omega TO Alpha Queen

It's the alpha’s birthday , or should I say my mate’s birthday. I stood there, with a long list , as I made sure to organize the hall where the celebration was to take place , later that evening . Ignoring the glares that were thrown my way by almost everyone, as I directed them on what to do, i wasn't officially Luna, even though Theo, the Alpha, was my mate, he hadn't officially given me the title, and it's been a year since I retired to the pack. I looked down at my growing tummy. I will be due in a month. I will give Theo his Heir, and Heir to the silver fang pack. “Hey…get that decoration right, it doesn't look good hanging that way” I called out to one of the pack members who was in charge of the decoration. The moment the words left my lips, his eyes snapped at me. “How dare you, if it doesn't match your taste , why don't you do it yourself?” he snapped at me , as he got down from the ladder, mumbling and walking out the hall. I was used to these: the hate, mockery, and disrespect. It all started ten years ago. I lost my precious sister. We were out playing in the woods, then the rogues attacked. We ran, but she. She didn't run fast enough, and that was the end. Her body was found. We could only assume she was killed and taken with the rogues. My mother blamed me for her death. She hated me to begin with. I never understood why, but she loved,Freya my sister, and hated me , even though we were still siblings. Maybe it was because of my father. She had said he had abandoned her for another woman, and as soon as I was born, she married another man, who turned out to be her mate, and to make it worse, he hated me even more. The death of my sister caused the whole pack to hate me, most of them saying I had killed her as revenge and jealousy, but nothing hurt like hearing my mother say that word. “Why did she die but not you?” She had said as he sat near my sister's grave, that her body hadn't been recovered, or traces of her body found anywhere, but my parents had built a whole shrine to honor her passing. Those words my mother uttered that day broke me. I was only ten at that time, so I left, went rogue, the pain , i went through for ten years, still tored me apart. Until, him Alpha Theo. He had rescued me once from a group of male rogues, and he had brought me home. Once we found out we were mates, there was no word from him since that time. It'd been almost a year, but I knew it was just a matter of time before he accepted me. That's why i took the duties of the Luna once i had returned. The whole pack still despised me because of what had happened all those years ago, and coupled with the fact that Theo never said anything to anyone by me being his mate. No one cared, no one asked for my explanation. When Freya died, i still remember the accusing fingers, the day my mother kicked me out of the house, and every one of them turned their faces away, leaving me on the street to rot, and wither away, and now I was meant to be their Luna. They hated me even more. Once i had fixed all the decorations, I knew I had to see Theo, who was probably in his office. I had a gift for him, even though we hardly spoke, though we were mated, and I was expecting, Theo wasn't much of a talker. I still loved him, I clutched the gift closer to me, as I walked to his office. “You're doing it today?” I could hear Stefen, the Beta asking him, and I forced myself as I listened from the door. “Yes, she has waited long enough. Today I'll introduce her to the pack as my new Luna. "This pack needs one ,and I love her, so i guess that's it”, he responded, and my heart swelled, and a smile graced my lips, just then i knocked. With a bright smile, a loud voice commanded. “Come in !!” he called out. As I opened the door, i was expecting to see a smile on his face, but instead he scored, but i brushed it aside. Everyone knew Theo wasn't one , to own his emotions. “Sorry for interrupting, happy birthday and guess what i had a gift for you.. i have a gift to give to you” I said with a soft smile. It was a gift I had poured out my heart to get. While standing at the door, Stefen scoffed. As he walked past me , whispering one word I was used to hearing from everyone in the pack. “w***e” he called , or more like whispered. As he left the room, i clenched my fist. Though Thoe was focused on his laptop, i couldn't tell if he heard it or not. werewolf had an incredible earring and, as an Alpha, I would say he did. But through all the abuse and insult, Theo never said a word. To defend me, I’m pretty sure the pack members knew this and that's what made them become bold. I stood there once with happiness, gone, replaced with shame , grief. “What is it?” Theo asked , or more like snapped at me , and I looked at him and one tear slipped through. I wondered why he was always silent when it came to me, cold, distracted. “Did you hear what he said?" asked Thoe, who looked at me. “Stop…… fucken throwing tantrums and tell me what you want"he said as he retired back to his laptop. “I came to wish you a happy birthday and give you a gift”, I said as I stretched forth my hands, with my gift in front of me, my head down, trying to hold back the tears. “You can drop it on the table,” he said without sparing me a glance. He couldn't even look at me. I knew that. “But…”I started, but he slammed his fist on the table, glaring at me, with so much hate. “Fucken drop it on the table and get the f**k out of here”he snapped at me, and with no choice that was what i did, drop it and left, tears falling from my eyes, as i walked away. I never understood him, he never marked me, we only mated a couple of times, which had earned me the name, ‘the alpha’s w***e’, because he never claimed me in front of anyone. I returned to my room, which was a cabin right outside the pack house. Theo never let me stay in his house, though I didn't mind. I figured out he needed some space, or he needed some space, so i gave him that, besides fifty percent of pack members stayed in a cabin. My parent lived a mile away, but i never visited , we never even spoke, since i returned, and i never bothered, i had learned to live without some certain people in my life and one of who were my parents,especially since the dispute between us we never got to sort it out,they blamed me for the death of my sister, when my mother saw me in public, she never looked at me, she acted like I didn't exist and when my step- dad saw me , he spit at me, or threw and insult my way. I stood as I looked at the blue dress on the dresser, i had worked for weeks to sew the dress, for today’s party, it was a sky blue dress that went down to my feet, i wanted to look good today, the words Thoe had said today got me excited, he was finally going to accept me, I was excited he had seen and appreciated my works in the pack. Few minutes to the event, i put on the dress and styled my hair into a messy bun, looking presentable , and pretty,i looked at my self in the mirror and i smiled, i couldn't wait to have the ring, of power in my finger a symbol, of the pack power, then everyone will accept me , i knew if Theo announced me today a his luna then i will regain my respect, my honor among the pack members. I walked towards the venue, hurrying up not to be too late, everyone was already there when I arrived. I smirked to myself as I clenched my big belle, today was the day, the day the pack will finally accept me, i was excited. I watched from the sideline,as the pack members celebrated , ate and drank, as I waited with my palm steady then the moment came for him to give his speech. I smiled at him, but he never once met my eyes. I ignored the stares and whispers thrown towards me by the pack members, as he stood there, everyone smiling at him. “So we're all here today, huh. I wasn't expecting this to be a success. "Thanks to you all for this, it still amazes me” he laughed, and my eyes widened. What does he mean, everyone? I spent days putting this all together in my state and he never once acknowledged that, the pack members were far too redundant to even care about helping out. I clenched my fist as I waited. “So today is the day we have all been waiting for , the day i take a Luna, she have been everything to me, stood my me, supported me , and loved me, even at my lowest”he smirked, as his eyes meet mine, i lit up as he looked at me. “Come here darling”he called as he stretched his hands towards my direction. I stood to my feet as i moved towards the stage, then i felt a push by my side, as a tall blonde lady walked past me, to the stage, standing there frozen, I watched in confusion as she turned to face the crowd, and then my face paled. It was her, it was my sister, I knew that face anywhere, after all I would know even if I saw her, she stood there ,as they smiled at each other, everyone could see the love in their eyes. I froze there like a statue, feeling a wet substance in between my legs, then I looked down to see that my water had broken, adding to my mystery.
