I yawned as I started waking up, I stretched in my bed and looked at my room another day without them. I started doing my morning routine I did my hygiene today I was wearing a black half shirt with white crosses with matching leggings, jean jacket, black sandals, and my hair was pinned to the side in curls. I grabbed my phone and purse and walked to my garage, I have 5 cars now I decided on my white ferrari. I got to work in 30 minutes when I walked in I was greeted by my assistant Oliver.
"Good morning Miss. Johnson" He said
"What do you want Oliver?" I asked irritated
"I just came to tell you that Miss. Carter isn't coming in today and your 10 o'clock meeting is in your office" He said a little sad
"Oh... Look I'm sorry for being so cruel you know what today is right?" I asked
"Yes Miss. Johnson I know I'm sorry for your loss" He said
"Hey don't feel sorry for me always be happy" I said
He smiled I walked to my office and two men in business suits were sitting in the chairs that are in my office.
"Finally someone is here" One of them complained
I rolled my eyes and sat down and turned on my computer.
"Good morning Mr. Williams and Mr. Grey" I said
"Please call me Connor" Mr. Williams said
"I'll stick to Mr. Williams" I said
He frowned and I smiled. Ever since Trey and the kids died I became a cold heartless b***h I still talk to Sydney but I don't believe in love anymore and I think I won't ever find love again.
"So let's start" I said
An hour later these people who call themselves businessmen left I was glad, I need another coffee I grabbed my phone and purse and left my coffee I walked down the street and around the corner to my favorite coffee place Rodrigo Coffee the best coffee in California well to me, I ordered my coffee and soon as I took a sip I was in love its the only thing I live for. I was sitting near a window a few seats away from me I seen two women, one was pregnant and they was talking about baby things I focused my attention on someone else and they landed on a man. He was chocolate dark, pearly whites, nice fade, dark brown eyes, nice lips, he looked my age and he looked around 6'5. I got up and threw my cup away on my way out I bumped into someone.
"I am sorry" He said
"It's okay just watch where your going next time okay" I said
And with that I left the place. I speed walked back to my office, I ran into my office not listening to Oliver and sat down.
Why didn't I cuss him out? He's the first person I haven't cussed out for bumping into me, it's whatever doe. Soon Oliver came in with him.
Sydney p.o.v
I drove to Zaire school it's her first day and she is a first grader this year. I waited for her to come outside, a few minutes later she did and she looked sad then she smiled when she seen me she started running to me I picked her up.
"How baby girl" I said
"Hey mommy" She said a little sad
"What's wrong?" I asked
"The girls in my class were calling me ugly" She said
I lifted her head up and looked in her hazel eyes.
"Zaire you are a beautiful girl. Don't let them little bitches I mean little girls get to you okay Zaire I will say pretty hurts but God made you and he made you perfect and your mommy's perfect little angel" I said
I started kissing her cheeks and tickling her.
"Mommy stop I'm getting too old for this" She said
That broke my heart my baby girl was growing up.
"No your not cuz if you are then your to old for Mr. Cuddles" I said
"You wouldn't dare" She said glaring at me
"Yes I would" I said
"Mommy no I'm to young" She said
I started laughing.
"I'm joking baby" I said
"Never do that I almost had a heart attack ooh chile never do that again" She said holding her chest
This little girl is crazy.
"Come on let's go get something to eat then you can go to your grandma and grandpa house" I said
Her eyes lit up. It took 40 therapy sessions for me and my mama and daddy to make up. We went and got some chipotle. I be like Zaire what you want she be like chipotle then I said you always eating chipotle she said chipotle is life mommy get with the program.
"Have fun Zaire" I said
"Okay mommy" She said
I hugged her then let her go. I went home and Vince was there.
"How was her first day of school?" He asked
"Some kids bullied her but I told her she is beautiful" I said
He nodded.
"Bae come here" He said
He was in in his office and I sat in his lap.
"I think I'm ready for another baby" He said
Darren p.o.v
"Kylie get off my property" I said
"Please Darren let me see my kids" Kylie said
"Kylie look at yourself, look at what you became I'm not letting you see my kids while you look like that" I said
She shook her head.
"I'm going to get clean and I will get my kids back" She said
Kylie family lost and we took his part but ever since we killjoy them she went on that stuff so I guess you can say I'm a single parent.
"Daddy was that mommy?" Takari asked
I looked at Takari she looked so much like Kylie, Taylor does to.
"No Takari that wasn't mommy" I said
She frowned then went upstairs. I wish Kylie wouldn't have gone on that stuff we all could be one big happy family.
