Chapter 12

Maximus P.O.V.

  It’s finally time for Star’s home pack to leave. After a few days, they stayed to say goodbye to her. He has no idea that her father, brother and I have made a deal for us to get together often so she doesn't feel that she is just leaving them and going to see them. I know how hard this is on her and am glad that my mother and her become so close. As her pack leaves to head to the airport to file home I hold her as she cries after saying goodbye. 

‘Let's take her to bed.’ -Chris 

‘I think that’s a great idea. Maybe she will relax a bit.’ -Max

‘Mom Star and I are heading to bed for the night.’ -Max

‘Okay sweetheart, make sure that she’s alright and taken care of tonight. It’s going to be hard for her the next few days.’ -My Mother

  Once we’re in our room I set Star on the bed and go run her a bath. “Babe, let's get you into the bath.” I told her. She just looks at me with tears in her eyes but smiles when she sees the bath. “Thank you Max. I love relaxing in the bath. Will you join me? I don’t want to be alone right now.” “Of course I will babe’ I tell her. I help her undress and then get both of us into the bath. She rested her head on my chest and started playing with my hands. “What's going through that pretty head of yours Meine Liebe (my love)?” She looks up at me and smiles. “Just how lucky i am to have such a caring mate.” All I could do was give her a kiss and then wash her hair. When we were done I climbed out and dyed us off. We went to the closest and Star put on one of my shirts and climbed into bed. I got in behind her and pulled her to me. She snuggled into me and we fell asleep.

Rose Stone P.O.V.

   My baby has finally found his mate. Max is my only child and I have gotten to know Star his mate. In the short time she has been here I can tell that she is going to be an amazing Lunar Queen. I have seen how much she cares for her home pack and family. She wants best for her people and I can see the people caring for her. Watching them together fills my heart with happiness. I haven’t seen Max smile the way does with Star since she was a young child. My wolf Melody is proud of her pup and seeing him happy.

  After the crowning Martin and I stepped down giving it all to Max and Star. During the party following that our families got a chance to dance with each of them. “Martin I think it's my turn to dance with our new daughter” I say cutting in to dance with Star. Both of them smiled at me then Martin handed her over to me. “Star my dear anything you need to learn just come to me. Martin's mother made the same promise that I am with you. I will follow you in your choices and will be there to give you guidance along the way.” She smiles at me and stops dancing to give me a big hug. I hug her back as she tells my thank you. After a song or two Max comes over to dance with his Queen. I step aside and walk over to Martin. He pulls me into his arms as we watch our kids dance all over the ballroom like all the movies that have royal balls.

  We have got to know all of Star’s home pack. I can see now why she cares for them so much. The guys let me in only the secret about the get-togethers between the Stone and Sky Falls packs. As Star says goodbye to her old pack she has tears in her eyes and Max had his arms around her waist. Once they were gone she turned and buried her face in his chest. After a few minutes of then just standing there like that Max decides that it’s time for them to head to bed. I tell him that he needs to make sure that Star is okay and for him to take care of her. As they head up to bed Melody starts to try to talk to me.

‘Do you think she’ll be okay?’ -M

‘I think she will. It was just as hard for us when we left our pack remember.’ -R

‘Yes i do remember. We should be there for her and support her till she’s adjusted.’ -M

‘I think that's a great idea. Giving her a mother figure here would make it easier on her.’ -R

‘Yes it will. Dakota told me that we are very similar to her mother and wants us here.’ -M

‘When did you talk to Star’s wolf? We just met her and she joined the pack two days ago.’ -R

‘Dakota is the first werewolf princess. She reached out to me the night of the ball when they decided that they were going to become Max's Queen.’ -M

  After talking with Melody I head into the house to find martin. I find him in the kitchen, so I sneak up on him and wrap my arms around him. He turns at the last second so that he's facing me when I hug him. Then he kisses me on the forehead. ‘Lets go to bed.” I suggest. “With you always. I’m happy that Max and Star found each other.” he tells me. I told him that I am to. 

Third person P.O.V.

  There is a group of people looking for the strongest werewolf Alpha born female. The group has gone through every pack so far and them. Now they are looking at the Sky Falls pack. A team of five has been sent into the pack territory to follow the family and see if the girl came home with them. As soon as they realize that the girl they are looking for never left the castle they changed their target area.  Once the focus is on the castle they study every move that happens in the side and on the grounds. They have a few members inside the castle getting as much information as possible. The group leader wants Star as his mate so that he can take over the werewolf kingdom. Now that he has found her he’s working on a plan on how to get her for himself.
