The crowned werewolf prince Maximus/Max Stone is the only child of Alpha King Martin Stone and Luna Queen Rose Stone of the Stone Hill pack. The king and queen have decided that it is time for Max to find his mate and become the Alpha king. At 20 Max stands at 6'4 has his father's jet black hair and his mother's golden eyes. He has been waiting 3 years for his mate and still has not found her. No matter how much he does not want to attend the royal mating ball again this year he must in hopes of finding his Luna and Queen.

The King and Queen meet at their first mating ball and Max had hoped he would but his mate wasn't there. He gave up hope of finding her after last year's ball when he went to every pack in the world looking for her and never found her. He was wondering what if she had died without them ever finding each other or if she wasn't of age yet.

The mating ball has been an annual celebration every year so that the unmated werewolves have a chance to find their mates if they are not found within their own pack. This is a tradition that was started by the first royal family, the Night-Sky. They all died before my family took over the throne. The first ball was for the first born prince to find his mate. Some say that not all of the Night-Sky were killed, but it’s just a myth that some people think and some believe it.
