Chapter 4Corey grabbed his backpack with his laptop and rushed out of the apartment. He was late. His boss had called a meeting, in the office. Hopefully, it was nothing bad. He believed the company did well, but it was worrying to have in-house meetings these days.
He shut his apartment door with a bang, locked it, and jogged toward the elevator. It was moving, he could hear it, and hurried to hit the button, hoping it hadn’t passed his floor yet.
