Chapter 10Hayden held the door to the lobby open for Corey. It was getting late and while he assumed they both had the day off tomorrow; he should say goodbye. He didn’t want to, though.
Nearing the elevator, he glanced at Corey. “You want to…erm…have a cup of tea?”
Corey raised an eyebrow at him, and Hayden’s cheeks heated. Before he could say anything else, the elevator doors opened.
Hayden followed Corey inside, swallowing a sigh as he did. The elevator rides were always too short, and he always had the feeling Corey was slipping away from him when they were in it.
