Chapter 10Hayden held the door to the lobby open for Corey. It was getting late and while he assumed they both had the day off tomorrow; he should say goodbye. He didn’t want to, though. Nearing the elevator, he glanced at Corey. “You want to…erm…have a cup of tea?” Corey raised an eyebrow at him, and Hayden’s cheeks heated. Before he could say anything else, the elevator doors opened. Hayden followed Corey inside, swallowing a sigh as he did. The elevator rides were always too short, and he always had the feeling Corey was slipping away from him when they were in it. When the doors closed behind him, Corey stepped closer and touched his hand. Hayden moved before he could talk himself out of it.
