Chapter Nineteen

We panting as we try to catch our breath after a long love making session. I lay on his chest and we in silence.

“What are you thinking about?” he asked as if he could see I was in battle with my own thoughts.

“Your relationship with Sanele”

“Oh that” he kissed my forehead “Well Sanele’s father and mine are very close friends and they both into illegal business so when my father gave me his business, Sanele’s father also gave him his so we became business associates but never friends”.

So all this long while they were business associates. You’d probably think Syamthanda is working for Sanele because he doesn’t display his wealth.

“Does Sanele know about your wealth?” curiosity got the better of me so I asked

“No he doesn’t. Well he knows that my family is very wealthy and powerful in the underground world but he doesn’t know about my own businesses” he explained.

“Oh okay” is all that could leave my mouth.

Until I remembered something

“Last night, who were those guys?” I needed to know everything. “ Those were my associate’s men. We striking a deal and I was shocked when I find out he sent his men for me”. Oh

“But I’ll handle him” he pulled me in for a tight hug

“I want to be there” I knew he would say no

“And you dare say no, I can protect myself and you know that. I’ll be your backup and we ain’t arguing about this. I’m in !” He sighed and I knew I defeated him

“Okay then”. I smiled and kissed him which turned into another love making session.
