I woke up and look around the beauty I was in. The bedroom is stunning and modernized just like everything in this house.
He wasn’t next to me so I went to take a shower. Clean the bed and took the sheet to the laundry basket.
I went to the lounge and he was watching TV with Heineken beer in his hand. He turns to look at me
“I didn’t want to wake you”
“Its okay”
“I’ve ordered, come eat with me”
I made my way and sat next to him and he pulls me in for a kiss
“You look beautiful” I blush
We ate while talking about Grownish, he isn’t a fan but he knows the series.
We finished and I washed the dishes. He told me he had a dishwasher but I was against using it. I have hands and I grew up in a strict traditional family so why not.
“Why do you have such tall wall around your house?” I was at his embrace and he shifted and made me sit properly
“I like my privacy… and because of the business I do”
“It not your first time saying that and every time I get scared when you say it. Its like I don’t know you”
“You know me baby. And don’t worry I’ll tell you when the time is right”
“Oh and Sanele said once I know your real self I’ll let you go, what did he mean?”
“He’s right” he takes both my hands and kiss them “Sisiwe I’m not a bed of roses. I have my own demons and I could be dangerous on worst days but I promise I’ll never hurt you”
I was stunned. What other side does this man have? May I ready to see it?
“I want you to promise me one thing” I look up to him
“What?”
“That if I hurt you, even once, you’ll leave me and not look back”
I can’t promise him that. I’ll stay I know
“I can’t promise you that Syamthanda”
“Please do. I don’t want to be a burden to you. Please promise me”
“Okay, I promise”
“Thank you. I love you”
