Chapter one: Meeting Her Again James pov "It's 8 pm, I think I'm late, David, get the car" I said on my phone, leaving my office and walking straight into the elevator. As I watched the number on the elevator going down, my mind drives me back to her again, why can't i stop thinking of her, why is she always in my head? I can't even start a day without thinking of her, it's been long we've seen each other, since highschool and I wasn't brave enough back then to tell her my hidden feelings for her and it hurts me till this very moment of my life. " Sir, sir, your car is ready, sir" David, my driver called. Snapping out of my thoughts, still in the elevator, I noticed it was about to close. I immediately went out." Oh, thank you, you won't be driving tonight. I have somewhere I have to go to alone. Good night David" I said, watching him as he withdrew from the car. " Okay sir, have a lovely night sir " he said quietly and left. I got into the car and left, still in my thoughts, she has that beautiful warm brown eyes i just can't forget and that lips of hers that always made me swallow my saliva, " ahh gosh, i have to stop" i said talking to my self in the car, I sounded like a p*****t. Embarrassed by my thought I tried to think of something else but it wasn't working at all so I turned on the music and Justin Bieber song pops up called as long as you love me. Knowing it wouldn't help the situation, I changed it only to hear another love song called boy with love by BTS and that was when I knew music couldn't help me so switched it off. As I walked into the fancy bar, John recommended for me to meet him saying it was very private and enjoyable which I would like for a bar to be, I looked up and noticed him. " Hey what took you so long, I almost thought you weren't coming. I'm glad you made it bro" He said acting surprised. I didn't respond immediately, I sat down and took my time to observe the bar and James choice of cloth which I found odd all of a sudden. " Hey what are you wearing, are you here for an important meeting or what, can you remove that tie, it's so embarrassing to sit next to you, jezzz!!! " I said shocked by his look tonight. " What is wrong with my style tonight? Well, you never know I might see a beautiful lady that might fall in love with my look tonight and ask for my number" he said playfully and smiling. " Look at you, you're always the center of attention, looking hot and handsome at the same time is a crime James, and i asked you to share your secret with me but you just keep ignoring that question all the time. " Heyyy chill, some people might think we're dating and having a couples fight, deal with you look yourself, I have no secret to tell you" I said smiling at the look on his playful face, John has always been my trusted and funny friend that who ever get close to him, will never regret being friends with him, he's just so bright and cheerful for his age and that always makes me feel grateful to have him not only as a friend but as a close friend. " Whatever " he said as I watched him pour me a drink, I knew this guy has something under his sleeve judging by the looks on his face made me feel like he's up to something, he looked at me and laughed. " Hey stop being creepy for once in your life, what's with all of this set up in front of me" i asked after seeing a bottle on the table and a lot of hard drinks. " You have to chill bro, it's a surprise so relax " he chuckled, siting and pressing his phone almost immediately. " John, what are you up to this time? What do you mean by a surprise? You didn't tell me about all of that, before coming here. What are you up to" I asked suspiciously of all the set-up on the table. " Okay, so I met someone you would like to meet again and i invited her to our midst this lovely evening and she said she doesn't mind but she didn't know you are here so I'd be surprising the both of you" He said casually, smiling and watching my reaction. " So who is she " I asked curiously and a cool and calm but familiar voice said " oh James Dawson" and that very minute I think my heart stopped beating for a second. Emma pov As I entered the bar I noticed two handsome men sitting and having a serious conversation, and when I walked closer to them, I noticed it was John who invited me and James, which surprised me with how grown up he looked. And when I heard James saying "so who is she", I had no other choice but to interrupt their conversation by how James looked, he looked like he was just coming back from his place of work, but his tie is nowhere to be found and he unbuttoned just two of his buttons, and his muscular chest could be seen through the white shirt and his hair looked rough which made him looked hot and handsome at the same time. " Oh James Dawson" I said, embarrassed has my voice betrays me sounding too tiny. " Hi John, how are you guys doing, hope I'm not late" " We're good, please take a sit, I'm sorry I didn't tell you James was coming, but you know it's been so long we've seen each so I made this arrangement for us to get together and have some fun" John said calmly and politely.
